The Selfie Blur Primer I recently bought applies smoothly without feeling thick or heavy. After use, my skin texture feels softer, which is a great first impression. True to its name, it gives my skin a slightly blurred effect, making it an effective product for someone like me who's concerned about acne scars. It's not a completely matte type, so it feels more comfortable than I expected, without much tightness. When applied thinly, it doesn't cause my makeup to pill. It seems to control oil well, so it might be good for oily skin types. While it doesn't provide dramatic tone correction or anything super noticeable, it does give a naturally polished look! The staying power seems a bit weak, as it tends to break down over time. After using Banila Co., I found this product online since it was sold out everywhere. As someone with dry skin, I find this primer applies smoothly and maintains a nice level of hydration. It seems to have minimal pilling. I'm currently using it and while it's not a perfect primer for covering pores, it's similar to Banila Co! I always use a primer due to my pore concerns. I've been a fan of the Benefit Porefessional, but I was looking for something lighter. After reading product reviews, I decided to give this a try. Application: Nowadays, most primers apply smoothly! However, if you're after dramatic results, you might prefer a thicker consistency (which can feel heavier) for more noticeable effects. This product strikes a nice balance. It's not too watery, and it applies well, allowing you to pat it in thoroughly before setting, which I appreciate. Longevity: With proper setting, it lasts quite well. Just keep in mind that if your skincare base isn't solid, it might break down faster. Effectiveness: Currently, I'm using this product in combination with another. I apply this one over larger areas, and use my other product for spots needing extra coverage. (It's great for minimizing small pores, but might struggle with larger ones.) I don't have any particular complaints. The smooth application means you can cover a large area with just a small amount, so make sure to apply it evenly. This is absolutely amazing! It's truly the best primer out there. I bought it after a YouTube recommendation, and let me tell you, I have huge pores, but when I apply this before foundation, my skin becomes as smooth as a peeled egg. I even have severe acne scars and uneven texture on my cheeks, but this fills them in so well they're barely noticeable. I'm completely sold on this product! The effect is so powerful that you absolutely must cleanse thoroughly after wearing makeup with this primer. It fills in every single pore so perfectly that you really need to be diligent with your cleansing routine. I recommend applying it with a puff instead of your fingers. Press it firmly into your pores for the best results.
