The Hwahae 17~19 / Dry series applied smoothly and had excellent glide. It felt like I was doing skincare! I noticed a clear brightening effect as soon as I applied it, and it didn't look unnatural, which I liked. The mint color also helped to counteract redness quite well. However, it didn't apply too thickly, which was great.

The Care Tone Up 03 Mint has a lotion-like texture and a refreshing finish, creating a smooth and moisturized skin appearance. It's easy to apply additional layers, but the act of doing so itself...

It's lightweight and moisturizing, so it's great for bare skin or as a makeup base. The mint color also helps with tone correction!

I'm a person with a dark skin tone of 23, and when I measure my skin pigment, the yellow and red pigments both show up as high. The inner part of my arm is a bit lighter, less yellow, and less red compared to my face.

1. It slides off. After applying and fixing it, if you touch your face or try to do any corrective makeup, it slides off. Mixing it with other products makes it slide off even more.

2. There are some colors that also function as sunscreen, but this one lacks the sunscreen function, which is disappointing.

3. The coverage is almost non-existent. It's suitable for simply going out for a quick tone correction and touch-up.

The application is natural and the tone is well-adjusted. It also helps to control the redness to some extent.

The shades 1 and 2 have UV protection, but it's a shame that this one doesn't. I have to apply sunscreen separately.

👎Packaging
It clicks shut, but every time I close it, I'm not sure if it's sealed properly. The cap also makes the product feel bulkier. With lip products, the twist-to-close cap gives a more secure feeling, but this care tone-up has a simple open-and-close cap, which feels a bit ambiguous.

👍Texture
It's very nice and moist. In the summer, I can skip some skincare steps and apply it without it drying out quickly, so I'm very satisfied.

👍Redness Coverage
The redness coverage is better than expected. Of course, it's not as strong as a concealer, but the difference between using and not using it is significant. I have redness across my entire face, so it makes a big difference.

👍Tone-up
I'm around shade 21-22, and the tone-up effect is definite. When I apply it, my face becomes whiter. It's not so much a radiant, brightening effect as a clean, whitening one. For those under shade 23, it might be too bright.

If you struggle with dryness under your base makeup, this product can really help solve that. It hydrates so well that my skin stays comfortable even after applying foundation. It's a great, fuss-free tone-up cream!
