My routine was to remove excess water from my hair after shampooing, then apply this scalp pack along with a hair mask. I left it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off with water.

It feels like you're applying a cooling, non-irritating emulsion to your scalp. I found that gently massaging it in with your fingertips after application helps it absorb even better.
