  I ordered this product because it's said to reduce acne scars and strengthen the skin barrier. It seems like a great starter retinol product. I hardly felt any tingling or irritation. While it doesn't dramatically improve your skin overnight, I applied it consistently as part of my evening skincare routine for over a week. It absorbs well and has a smooth application. Though the changes aren't drastic, my skin texture has become softer and more hydrated, which I love. I'm hoping that with continued use, I'll see even more improvement in skin elasticity!

  Skin type: Oily, Sensitive, Acne-prone I previously had a good experience with the retinol ampoule from the same line, so I bought this cream expecting it to suit me well too! The effects feel similar, but since it's a cream formula, it absorbs more slowly than the serum, which seems to make it less irritating. I saw improvements in skin texture, and because the retinol content isn't too high, even my super sensitive skin could use it without much irritation. The lightweight formula absorbs like water when applied, making it great for oily skin.

  Cons

  I didn't see significant improvements in pores. Admittedly, the lower retinol content means you might not feel dramatic effects, but for sensitive skin, this level is just right! If your skin is already well-adapted to retinol, you might not notice this product's effects as much.

  Tip

  For those with super sensitive skin, first test the product on your inner arm or wrist to check for any skin reactions before applying it to your face. Last year, I experienced various skin issues like contact dermatitis and folliculitis, which made my skin even more sensitive. As a result, I don't use high-performance products like retinol often. I only use this product once or twice a week. If you have sensitive skin, adjust the frequency based on your skin's condition. I've heard that retinol is effective for preventing wrinkles and improving elasticity, so I'm also applying it to my neck!

  For a drugstore product that's not primarily focused on retinol but includes additional benefits like cica, blemish care, and skin barrier support, I didn't expect much in terms of retinol effects.
