  First off, true to its emulsion name, it applies with a wonderfully hydrating feel without a hint of matteness. It naturally brightens your complexion by a shade without any cakiness. The packaging is also delightful - the satisfying click and twist to open really adds to the experience.

  Cons

  As someone who rarely uses base products, I let my guard down because of the 'emulsion' in the name. Big mistake - my white shirt ended up with a flesh-toned makeover! While it does brighten the skin tone nicely, don't expect much in terms of coverage.

  Tip

  If you're only applying it to your face, one pump seems to give the most natural look.

  As time passes, it becomes quite oily. Even with the slightest rubbing, it pills or separates. So for important appointments, I think it's better to just wear makeup instead
