The texture is viscous, but it absorbs quickly when applied, leaving a clean finish without feeling greasy. It makes your skin feel firm while deeply hydrating both inside and out! I have a very dry U-zone in winter, so I need something that provides intense hydration. Light, water-based products aren't enough, even when layered. However, heavy products clog my pores and irritate my skin. I've always struggled to find a balance, but this product offers the best of both worlds without any drawbacks! It provides thorough hydration without clogging pores, feeling heavy, or leaving an oily residue. I've never used a product that's so lightweight yet keeps my skin moisturized for so long... With consistent use, I've also noticed skin recovery effects. My overall skin health has visibly improved. I highly recommend this for anyone concerned about their skin barrier! I haven't tried it in summer yet (might be good to use without cream?), but it's perfect as an intermediate step between toner and cream in winter! I recommend it for all skin types in winter! For summer, I'll probably try using it after toner and skip the cream. There might be a slight stickiness after absorption, which could be hit or miss for some people (I perceive it as firmness rather than stickiness). Also, the price is quite high.
