I love how it brightens and evens my complexion. It worked well for me without causing any blemishes.
ConsI didn't really find any downsides, except that it can look cakey if you apply too much, which is to be expected.

It gives your skin a lovely white glow with a pink undertone.
ConsIf you don't control the amount well, you might end up looking like a Kabuki actor. I bought it because it was supposed to be moisturizing, but it's disappointingly drier than I expected.

Matte but moisturized. Dewy glow. Pink-toned brightening moisturizer - improves skin tone and texture I used to use Espoir's product (pink one) but switched to this after their formula changed. My criteria were hydration and brightening effect, and of course, good ingredients. This product meets all three! Although chemical sunscreens are typically more hydrating, I was a bit uneasy about their UV protection method, so I opted for this mixed sunscreen. Despite having a high percentage of physical filters, it's incredibly moisturizing! I expected the texture to be like a sun essence, but it's slightly thicker, similar to regular sunscreens or a bit runnier. You need to spread it well, and upon application, you can feel both moisture and a slight richness. Unlike the Espoir product which felt very oily and greasy, this one isn't as heavy. After application, skin feels soft with a nice glow. As it absorbs, it finishes slightly powdery and fresh, but you can still feel the moisturizing effect when touched. Thanks to the physical sunscreen component, it's not too oily, adheres well to the skin, and doesn't transfer. The pink tone effectively neutralizes yellowness and noticeably brightens the complexion. It also has decent coverage, minimizing pores and evening out skin texture, making your skin look better than before. Of course, it won't cover blemishes or redness... As someone with naturally dry skin, I do feel a slight tightness in the U-zone over time, but it's just surface dryness, not deep. I'm writing this review after just one use because I'm so satisfied! I think I'll stick with this sunscreen from now on.
ConsDespite being a mixed sunscreen, it has quite a strong, characteristic scent of chemical sunscreens... As it's a brightening product, it may slightly emphasize dead skin cells, and those with dry skin might feel some tightness over time. There's some pilling! Even when used alone, you really need to control the amount carefully. It gets worse when used with skincare products prone to pilling, so before makeup, I avoid using products with hyaluronic acid or gel textures, minimize layering, and mix it with a non-pilling essence sunscreen. I compensate for the lack of hydration with a moisturizing base. (Mixing ratio: Cellamax Heart Pink Tone-Up Sunscreen 1 : Purifia Metabiome Essence Sunscreen 2-3 Daisy'c Water Veil Primer 3CE Glow Beam)
TipThis brightening moisturizer seems great for keeping all skin types hydrated! Since the texture is quite thick and it provides good coverage, I recommend applying it in small amounts and building up layers rather than applying a lot at once. Purchasing from Ably is the most cost-effective option.

It absorbs quickly and finishes with a fresh feel, without any stickiness. When it comes to brightening moisturizers with SPF, I often avoid ones that over-correct my complexion as they can feel heavy or create a noticeable line. This one, however, is lightweight and provides a natural correction. It makes my skin look like it's naturally vibrant and bright, giving me that 'good skin day' bare-faced look. I have a yellow undertone, but the pink base in this product neutralizes it while providing a natural tone correction. It smooths out my skin without emphasizing pores or texture, making it great as a makeup base too.
ConsSo far, I haven't found any downsides. If I had to nitpick, maybe the 40ml size is a bit small? I'd definitely buy a larger size if it was available.
TipI usually apply sunscreen to my neck as well, and I love that this product is moisturizing and provides UV protection at the same time. Just one application keeps my neck from feeling dry. The brightening effect is an added bonus - I can reapply it to my neck throughout the day for hydration and sun protection, and it blends seamlessly with my made-up face, eliminating any harsh lines.
