Those with dry skin might find it a bit lacking in moisture though.

The scent: It's almost fragrance-free. As someone sensitive to scents, I really appreciate this!

The effects: One of its benefits is improving pigmentation. My skin is so prone to blemishes that I need to take good care of the marks they leave behind. I definitely feel like this serum helps fade blemish marks faster! It's also very gentle, so I've been using it a lot lately.

While not exactly a pro tip, as summer approaches, you might enjoy keeping this in the fridge for a refreshing, cool application.

Perhaps because I have mature skin, I found I needed to layer another cream over the serum to prevent dryness. Recently, due to hot weather, I've only been using toner and emulsion. This serum alone doesn't seem to provide enough deep hydration, which is disappointing. Also, when I applied my usual sunscreen afterwards, something didn't mix well and it started pilling. That was frustrating.

The serum has a nice moisturizing texture and absorbs well. The scent isn't overpowering at all. I applied it after toning and gently patted it in to help absorption. It absorbs quickly, but I'll need to use it longer to see if it has a calming effect. Overall, it feels hydrating and provides good moisture.
