  As a balancing toner, it really helped refine my skin texture and maintain a great oil and moisture balance. This made my subsequent skincare products absorb well, and the hydration lasted for a long time.

  Cons

  Pros

  You can feel the instant hydration as soon as you apply it, and it absorbs quickly. The large volume means it'll last a long time. The container is quite big, so the lid is also large - I was a bit surprised by the size at first... haha! The pack toner, absorption toner, and exfoliating toner were all easy to use. It absorbs really well, making it great for layering multiple times, and it builds up just the right amount of hydration. It contains coix seed extract, which provides mild dead skin cell removal, making your skin texture smoother. The fragrance is also unscented, and it's a gentle product without any irritants.

  Cons

  If you apply too many layers, it starts to pill like dead skin... My skin is dry, so I tried to combat the dryness by applying 5-6 layers as an absorption toner, but it started to pill and I couldn't apply any more. I've seen ampoules pill before, but this is the first time I've seen a toner do it. Also, sometimes when it dries, my face feels stiff? There are many toners on the market that don't pill or leave a stiff feeling, so I'm not sure if there's a reason to use this product specifically. However, if you don't use too much, it does seem to provide good initial hydration.

  The ingredients are excellent, and it absorbs well with a great texture. As described, it has a slight firmness that you can't find in other water-based toners. As someone with dry skin, I'm satisfied with how it balances oil and moisture, providing great hydration and moisturization. The volume is also generous.

  There's really nothing to complain about, from the toner itself to the use of recycled paper and packaging.

  Pros

  I prefer toners that flow smoothly like water. The Baek Ah Yul Moisture Balancing Toner glides on effortlessly, just like water. Its texture is similar to the Round Lab Dokdo Toner. This makes it perfect for soaking cotton pads generously for a toner mask. It's especially great for morning use when your cheeks feel tight and dry during winter. The large cylindrical bottle allows for liberal application. The feel on the skin is refreshing and it absorbs well. I've been using it without any blemishes.

  Cons

  The brand Baek Ah Yul was unfamiliar to me. As someone who's quite interested in skincare brands, I'm looking forward to trying other products from Baek Ah Yul in the future.
