The application is smooth, and there's hardly any excess, making it perfect for beginners to use without worry. However, the colors are generally on the lighter side, so the pigmentation isn't very intense. This might mean that if you have a slightly darker complexion, the colors may not show up well. The pink tones are quite similar, so using them all might not create a distinct look.
