The rosy shade gives off a lovely autumn vibe.
ConsAs typical with matte lipsticks, it's a bit drying and tends to transfer. The color payoff isn't particularly long-lasting.

This is truly a great lip product for everyday wear! On the lips, it shows up as a moderately vibrant rose pink, but the effect seems to vary slightly depending on your skin tone. It's lovely worn alone, and also works well as a base with a bolder lip color on top for added impact. It applies with a blurred effect and dries to a matte finish, but without feeling heavy or drying - instead, it feels incredibly lightweight and velvety smooth! There's no emphasis on dead skin cells either, making it the perfect matte lip for those days when your lips aren't in the best condition.
ConsIt tends to transfer easily when eating and seems to wear off quickly without leaving a stain.
TipFor a natural overlip look, apply the product to the inner part of your lips, press them together, then blend the edges with your finger.

On my lips, it's not a pure pink color - there's a hint of yellow and it's not too pale, so wearing it alone gives a natural 'no-makeup makeup' look. It's also great as a base color. Compared to the previous Couture Velvet, they've removed the oily feel and improved the adherence. It has a slightly chewy texture, like cream cheese. When blurred with fingertips, it creates a beautiful matte finish. The calm MLBB color works well both as a base and on its own. The scent is a nutty peanut vanilla chocolate - a sweet fragrance that I personally enjoy.
ConsWhile the official website claims it barely transfers, there is some transfer compared to other brands' low-transfer tints. It transfers less than the previous Couture Velvet or original velvet tints, but you should expect some transfer. Also, this is a matter of personal preference, but the scent might be polarizing. It has a nutty peanut vanilla chocolate fragrance that's both savory and sweet, which might not appeal to those sensitive to scents.
