I first applied for and received a sample before purchasing! I'm a woman in my mid-30s who has been concerned about vertex hair loss. I've tried many different hair loss shampoos, hair loss-specific ampoules, and essences, regardless of brand. In fact, after using many products, I've come to believe that hair loss shampoos, since they are not medications, are more effective at preventing existing hair from falling out rather than regrowing hair. So, I didn't have high expectations. The shampoo sample I received came in a convenient travel size. It's very cute! (The actual size is 500g, which is great for travel use as well.) I don't really like products with strong scents, as they can be artificial and potentially cause headaches. This one is supposedly sandalwood-scented, but to me, it's almost unscented. The texture is a bit... do you know Nizoral? It's like that - not much lather, but when you apply it, it has a non-sticky essence-like feel that becomes more viscous when mixed with water. However, the lather isn't very rich. Like many functional shampoos, I lather it up thoroughly (and do a pre-wash if my hair is oily) and let it sit for about 3 minutes before rinsing during my shower or skincare routine. It left my hair feeling a bit stiff, which was a bit disappointing right after washing, but as long as the hair loss treatment is effective, I don't mind too much. There was no artificial cooling sensation or irritation on my scalp. But on the days when I'm rushed in the morning and skip the hair treatment, I probably won't go out of my way to use this shampoo.

As others with different hair types have also felt, it does become stiff, and it does not become as soft as other shampoos. If you are using it as a treatment, it would be fine, but there are now many shampoos for hair loss that do not become stiff, so in terms of competitiveness, there may be some who dislike it, so that would be a drawback. Additionally, it produces little lather. If you need a pre-shampoo, it would be better to use another shampoo first.

There is not much lather, so please work up a good lather in your hands before applying. Otherwise, you may end up using an unnecessary amount..!

My hair is extremely damaged, and I don't like it when my hair falls out, but there's a lot of it, and it takes a long time to dry, and my hair is dry.
