  Pros

  I bought this along with my lash serum, and I think it's great as a mascara alternative if you curl your lashes before applying. It's also fantastic for defining lash direction, similar to how a lash serum works.

  I was curious about this product being both a lash treatment and mascara, so I'm glad I bought it during a sale. I already use Cosrx lash serum regularly, and I'm equally satisfied with this one. It feels like a light mascara, which I love. It's also easy to remove, and the curling power isn't bad at all.

  A translucent black lash serum that applies like a fixer. It goes on incredibly light, yet unlike typical fixers, it doesn't leave that grayish cast when it dries. Instead, it makes your lashes look naturally healthy. For those who prefer a more subtle makeup look, this product is perfect as it nourishes and enhances your lashes simultaneously. It's super easy to remove with just water. During your cleansing routine, you won't need a separate lip and eye makeup remover. Simply use water and it comes off effortlessly without any irritation.

  Oddly, it makes my lashes droop. Even after using an eyelash curler, my lashes keep falling downward without any hold. As someone with monolids and thick eyelids, I already struggle to maintain a curl without a strong-hold mascara, and this product doesn't seem to offer much in terms of staying power. Moreover, it becomes very sticky on teary eyes. I suppose it's because of its water-soluble formula, but this turned out to be a major drawback for me. As a chronic rhinitis sufferer, I'm constantly dealing with watery eyes, and this product kept coming off with my tears. I applied it on a dry day before going out, but my eye area became incredibly sticky. It even started to feel tacky, so I ended up removing it. While it's an innovative product, it's just not compatible with my needs.

  I tried an eyelash serum for the first time after winning it through The Hwahae Testers! While it doesn't have any curling effect, being black in color, it makes your lashes look naturally longer and more defined after application. The brush is slim enough, making it easy to apply without smudging around the eyes. It's definitely lighter than mascara, so it would be perfect for a natural makeup look.

  The downside is that it takes quite a while to dry. When applied to both upper and lower lashes, even after drying, the lashes stick together and feel sticky, which is uncomfortable. As for its effectiveness as a lash treatment, I'll need to use it longer to tell. I'll make sure to use it regularly!

  There's not much to praise... Maybe just that it comes with a free eyelash comb as part of a promotional set?

  It's extremely heavy. The gel formula is sticky and incredibly weighty, causing lashes to droop significantly. It makes lashes sag so much that even curling them doesn't help. Using it as a mascara is out of the question (makes you wonder why they even released it), and its effectiveness as a lash treatment is mediocre at best. It might work somewhat okay as an under-lash mascara. I absolutely won't repurchase this. It really makes you question how they could even sell a product like this. The clear version is genuinely much better.
