Pros
A mascara-like lash serum with a semi-transparent black color. It applies very lightly. Yet, it doesn't harden with the typical gray tint of a mascara, allowing my natural healthy lashes to show through. Those who prefer a more natural look may find this product great for both nourishing and lightly enhancing their lashes. It removes very easily with water. I can simply wet my hands and wipe it off cleanly without needing a separate eye makeup remover. It's nice that it doesn't irritate my eyes.
Cons
Strangely, my lashes seem to droop down on me. Even after curling them firmly with a lash curler, the hold doesn't last and my lashes keep falling down. With my double-lidded eyes and thick eyelids, I usually need a strong mascara to maintain the curl, but this product doesn't seem to have great holding power. It also gets very sticky when my eyes water a lot. I think it's because the formula is so easily removed with water. As a chronic allergy sufferer with constant watery eyes, this was a major downside for me. I applied it on a dry day and went out, but my eye area became very sticky and started feeling like it was sticking together later on, so I had to remove it.

I'm trying the eyelash serum for the first time and was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer to use it! The curling effect is completely absent, and since it's black, when you apply it, your eyelashes appear naturally longer and more defined. The brush is appropriately slim, so it doesn't get caught in the eye area and is easy to apply! It's definitely lighter than mascara, so it would be great for a natural makeup look.
Cons
The downside is that it takes quite a while to dry, and when I applied it to the upper and lower lashes, they stuck together and felt sticky after drying, which was uncomfortable. It's really heavy. The gel formula is very thick and heavy, and it sags a lot when you use a curler. I was able to use the product that I originally wanted to try. I was using the Cosrx Lash Serum (white) before, but I highly recommend the Tinting Serum for first-time users. 1. Thin Brush - The existing clear serum has a thick, cotton-like brush that goes all the way to the roots, which can sometimes make the application clumpy. But this Tinting Serum has a thinner brush, making it easy to apply strand by strand. 2. Color - The black color can make thin and sparse eyebrows appear fuller for people like me. 3. Lash Lengthening - Some people said it didn't perform like a mascara, but after getting my lashes permed and as they started to droop, the serum helped to tidy them up a bit and made them look longer! So I'm very satisfied. I highly recommend this as a daily product for those who don't usually wear makeup and avoid mascara due to the hassle of removal.
