  First off, my skin type is combination dehydrated with a few small blemishes, and I've never applied oil to my face before. While searching for skincare videos for combination dehydrated skin, I learned that oily skin actually needs oil, which led me to discover jojoba oil. The texture is incredibly light, and there's barely any scent! The packaging is pretty, and the pump dispenser makes it easy to use despite its thin consistency. I mixed one pump of oil with my moisturizer as the final step in my nighttime routine, and it felt amazingly hydrating without any deep dryness. The next day, my makeup went on smoothly, and I think this would be perfect for oily skin during seasonal changes or winter.

  I'm not sure if it was just my imagination, but the day after I first used the oil, I felt like my skin was slightly more oily than usual. After that, it seemed like my skin adapted, and I didn't experience this again. If you have oily skin and are worried about using oil, I'd recommend trying it for the first time on an evening before a day when you don't have any plans.

  Tip

  Mixing a pump of oil with your moisturizer or essence is the ultimate combination! Apply your regular skincare product on the back of your hand, mix it well with the oil, and you're good to go. Since you're not introducing a completely new product, there's less worry about blemishes.

  First off, I love how this product solves the minor annoyance of using droppers with oils. The pump makes it so much more convenient! There's no scent, which is great. The texture is a bit heavier, so a little goes a long way. You can mix a small amount with other products or apply it sparingly on its own.
