Texture: Despite being called an essence toner, I expected it to have some viscosity and a sticky, mucus-like consistency when applied. However, it comes out like a watery essence, and when applied, it's very fluid with no stickiness or viscosity - more like a thin hydrating essence! Application: I thought it would absorb quickly, but it actually takes a bit of patting to sink in. It seems to penetrate deeply at first, and right after application, you can feel the hydration and a slight bouncy texture. But within 5-10 seconds, I had the feeling it might evaporate quickly. So it seems like you need to layer it multiple times for best results! Finish: It doesn't leave a bouncy or sticky finish, but rather a light, hydrated feel without any residue on the surface. It's definitely more about providing hydration than deep moisturization.
ConsFor my extremely dry, dehydrated skin, it felt too light and only provided surface hydration. While I appreciated the deep hydration, it seemed to evaporate too quickly. I wish it had a bit more moisturizing power to better balance the oil and moisture levels in my skin.
TipFor those with dry skin like mine, I'd recommend using this product for an initial hydration boost, followed by additional moisturizing products. I think those with combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types might be more satisfied with how this feels and performs.
