For a vitamin product, it has a delightful scent and absorbs wonderfully. It's lightweight with no excess oil, making it perfect for a light application. My skin is dry with many blemishes. I have been consistently applying Vitamin C. I received Hwahae treatments at the dermatologist, but they did not seem to suit me as my skin became increasingly darker and the unseen freckles became more pronounced, so I got a refund after about 3 months of treatment. It seems Vitamin C is more effective for me. It is not sticky and absorbs quickly, so even oily skin types can use it without any issues. It also has a large 40ml volume and contains niacinamide, a skin-lightening ingredient. After absorption, there is no significant moisturizing effect. Review after using the entire bottle: The Mediheal Vitamin C Brightening Serum was definitely gentle on my skin. It absorbed smoothly without irritation, making it comfortable even for sensitive skin. Non-sticky with a fresh finish, it's perfect as a daily serum. I could clearly feel my complexion evening out and gaining vitality with just this one serum! The vitamin C content isn't very high. I just picked up whatever caught my eye, and I'm glad I did. It's perfect for light application and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I've been using this for 4 months now. I always apply it before bed, and I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and supple. While it doesn't dramatically whiten my face, I do notice a gradual brightening effect, so I'm consistently applying it. I'll likely keep purchasing this! (For reference, I have dry skin, and this product suits me well) While it does provide hydration, I noticed it pills slightly when applied before makeup. My complexion has brightened and it seems like many of my blemishes have faded away, which I'm really happy about. It's a bit sticky, and when my skin is super sensitive, it can cause a slight tingling sensation. The hydration is fantastic, and from my perspective, there's absolutely no irritation. I love that it contains effective whitening ingredients. Since it's oil-free, I can apply it generously without feeling heavy. My perfect routine is applying toner, then slathering on this serum, letting it absorb, and following up with cream. It's just perfect that way! To be honest, I'm not very perceptive when it comes to brightening effects, but I figure since the ingredients are there, they must be doing something. Nothing negative to say. The price, maybe? But even then, it's relatively affordable compared to other brightening serums, so I can't really complain.

For a clear and radiant complexion, Mediheal proves to be a trusted choice once again. The texture is rich, it brightens my skin tone, and makeup applies smoothly over it! Having had good experiences with most Mediheal products, I carefully checked the ingredients before trying this one. Upon opening, I was greeted by a pleasant citrusy scent reminiscent of lemon candy or black sugar scrub. Even when applied right after cleansing, there's no tingling sensation! It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth while combating dryness. I've tried layering it multiple times, and each application absorbs without any stickiness, leaving my skin feeling firm. As I'm in early pregnancy, I checked for ingredients to avoid, and this gentle product seems safe. Thankfully, it suits my skin well! I mainly apply multiple layers before bed, and when I look in the mirror while washing my face in the morning, my skin looks brighter as if I've had a good night's sleep! While I'm not sure about its effect on pores, my overall complexion has become clearer and my skin texture firmer. The fact that it doesn't irritate my face shows how gentle this product is! I expect to see even more improvement after finishing the whole bottle - I have high hopes! While I'm very satisfied with how it improves skin texture, hydration, and overall complexion, it doesn't seem to work well on old or deep blemishes. It seems that for those stubborn spots, skincare products alone aren't enough, and laser treatments at a dermatologist might be the only solution. I only apply brightening products and vitamin-based skincare as part of my nighttime routine, never in the morning or during the day!
