ConsNo particular downsides The scent might be polarizing, but it fades quickly
TipFor dry skin, to use as a night cream, apply multiple thin layers to satisfy both oil and moisture needs The texture would also work well as a sleeping mask

I'd love to use it chilled in summer for an extra cooling effect! It doesn't absorb instantly but rather sinks in gradually. Makeup applies beautifully over this cream!
ConsThe cypress scent might be hit or miss for some! Personally, I found it okay as the fragrance dissipates quickly.
TipAfter exfoliating, when my skin felt sensitive and tingly, I applied two layers of this moisturizer. The cooling effect was so soothing and pleasant!

It applies without feeling too heavy, but definitely seems to provide a boost of hydration. I've been using Dr.G Blemish Soothing Cream for 4 bottles as it somewhat suited me, but then I discovered this and received the product. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I used to always wake up with deep dryness even after layering products, but not with this... The absence of deep dryness is really great... No pilling with makeup either.. I'm not sure if it's because I've made it a habit to apply cream, pat with a puff, apply sunscreen, and pat again, but it was great!! Appearance - Oh, the packaging gives off a natural, forest-like vibe? The color of the cream is also very pretty, really gives that forest feeling...!
ConsScent - It might be a bit polarizing. Is this the scent of cypress water...? However, the scent dissipates quickly after application, and you get used to it gradually.
TipIt would be more hygienic to use with a spatula. It would be nice if they included a spatula, but they probably don't want to increase the price of the cream... so we'll have to get our own.

This product seems to strike the perfect balance. I prefer lighter textures to rich creams, but that suffocating feeling made me avoid gel creams for a while. This one has a slight translucent, film-like sensation typical of gel creams, but it's not overwhelming. - Even in this dry winter, for combination dehydrated skin, layering this product over toner and a hydrating serum seems sufficient for daytime skincare! With 80ml, the quantity is generous. It's a decent gel cream, but I'm unsure if I'll repurchase after finishing it.
Cons- The scent is a bit unique, like herbs or cypress. Personally, I wasn't a fan, but it doesn't linger too long after application, so it wasn't a major issue. - I'm not a big fan of jar packaging. Since it's a cream I use frequently, I think I'd reach for it more often if it came in a tube.

While it might be polarizing for some, I found it delightful. It has a subtle woody aroma, perhaps like cypress? It gives me the feeling of being in a forest, which is incredibly soothing. I'm really fond of it. As it's a hydrating and calming cream, it feels moisturizing with a slight cooling effect. This seemed to help soothe any redness caused by skin warmth. It absorbs well, sinking into the skin quickly. The texture is reminiscent of aloe gel, making it perfect for those with oily skin. While it might not be quite enough as a winter cream for dry skin, I found it worked wonderfully as a makeup base. Often, oil-rich creams can cause pilling before makeup application, but this water-based cream doesn't have that issue. I loved layering it over toner, emulsion, and serum for hydration, then finishing with this moisturizer - my makeup stayed put without any pilling. I'm generally satisfied with this cream and think it'll be great for summer use too. It absorbs well, isn't sticky, and has a pleasant scent - a great hydrating moisturizer overall!
ConsWhile the scent might be divisive, it dissipates quickly so it shouldn't be a problem. As it's a hydrating cream, it might not be quite enough for those with very dry skin. For winter use, it would need to be paired with other products, though it could work well on its own in summer. This product is more recommended for those with oily skin.

Texture - It's moisturizing without being sticky, which is great - Absorbs well immediately! 2. Scent - The fragrance isn't an overpowering cosmetic smell, but rather a natural herbal scent. It's slightly reminiscent of traditional medicine, mixed with a hint of mugwort and fresh grass... 3. Overall impression - I liked that it's a product that delivers hydration and keeps the skin moisturized However, I found it tends to pill or feels too dry when applied before makeup, so I prefer using it in the evening!
Cons1. Scent - First off, the fragrance isn't my style, so it's a bit challenging for me. But on the bright side, the scent doesn't linger for too long, which is good.
Tip- Apply generously, and if your skin feels dry, apply another layer. This will keep your skin nicely hydrated.

It absorbs well without feeling sticky or slippery. There's a nice cooling effect, which seems great for when your skin feels hot. I happened to use it when my skin wasn't in the best condition, and I could really feel its soothing effects.
ConsSince it's focused on hydration, I found it a bit lacking as a standalone product and needed to apply another cream to finish my routine. The scent, while not unpleasant, is quite strong. I'm not particularly fond of strong fragrances, but it was okay since it didn't linger for too long.
TipI apply it in this order: toner, serum, ampoule, Soop Calming Moisture Cream, then another cream. Since I have combination skin with some dry areas, I finish by applying a different cream just on those parts. In the morning, I use a moderate amount before makeup, while at night, I apply a bit more generously for better soothing effects.

Texture: Think of it like an aloe product or snail cream! It's soft and hydrating. Quantity: The 80ml large size is great as it lasts a long time. Application: It applies smoothly with good hydration and absorbs quickly. A big plus is that it's almost oil-free, so it feels like it's really sinking into the skin after application. There's hardly any stickiness, which is perfect for those who dislike that lingering tacky feeling. Soothing effect: I often get sudden blemishes after evening cleansing, or have existing ones. As this is a soothing hydration cream, it seems to focus on calming the skin. It's quite effective - even when blemishes appear, they settle down quickly, so I can go out the next morning without worry. While the effect isn't dramatically intense, it does have a soothing quality that could be quite beneficial for those with sensitive skin.
ConsScent: As you can see from many reviews, opinions are divided. It has notes of menthol and cypress, and my mother even said it smells like herbal medicine. I don't mind it, but the scent is quite strong. It becomes even more intense when it touches the skin. However, the fragrance doesn't linger long and fades quickly during application, so it's not too bothersome. Longevity: As it's a lighter cream, it might feel a bit insufficient for winter use. It has a softer feel and better absorption compared to other moisturizers, but it may not provide enough hydration for dry skin types or during winter months. Product design: It's a bit disappointing that it comes in a jar without a spatula. Given it's a large 80ml size that will last a while, I can't shake off concerns about hygiene.
TipIf you're using this in winter, it might be good to pair it with a multi-balm for extra hydration.

As soon as you apply it, there's a subtle cooling sensation (without any burning) and it feels like a gel cream that's purely hydrating. I was worried it might be too light for winter, but it's perfect for my combination skin! This product seems tailor-made for those looking for a lightweight moisturizer. It absorbs quickly, providing hydration without any stickiness.
ConsThe lightweight nature means it might not be suitable for use in spaces with intense heating. After spending an hour in a heavily heated room, my skin felt tight. It'll probably work well in the warming spring and summer months. Also, it has a scent similar to herbal medicine or herbs. I didn't mind it, and while I don't usually pay much attention to fragrances, I noticed this one dissipated quickly.
TipThis seems to be a perfect match for skin that's dehydrated and prone to redness! In summer, this one product alone should be sufficient.
