The scent is woody! I have super sensitive skin with redness, dryness, dead skin cells, and dark spots, and my skin survives on steroids. Yet this product works well without irritation. It's deeply hydrating without being sticky!! If you dislike a lingering finish, you must try this. I had a terrible experience with pure Vitamin C before, which completely upset my skin and made my face feel like it was on fire. But this one uses a Vitamin C derivative, so there was no irritation! If you have sensitive skin but want to try a Vitamin product, I highly recommend this and the B Triple C Gel! The price... oh, the price... As it gets more expensive every year, my wallet is turning to dust... For intense hydration = Aesop Parsley Seed Treatment + this product When your skin is in total crisis = B Triple C Gel -> followed by this
