  Pros

  As soon as I opened the product, without even shaking it, the first sheet was drenched in essence. It seems like there's an incredible amount of essence that will last until you finish using it all! I took this toner pad on an overseas trip right after receiving it. Compared to my previous toner pads, it contains much more essence, so I used it as a mask replacement in the evenings to cool down my skin! No blemishes appeared on my skin (I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin). Even after using it on my face and body, there was less lint compared to other brands, and the essence was still plentiful. Surprisingly, I saw more benefits on my body than on my face. When I had blemishes on my face and back due to environmental changes, it seemed to help soothe the back blemishes! (personal opinion) When I used it as a mask before applying makeup in the morning, my foundation didn't pill or lift, and it felt nicely hydrating.

  Cons

  The scent seems to be cucumber-like? It might be a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance for some people. The pad size isn't particularly large, but it was sufficient for use. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the tweezers seemed a bit flimsy and bent even when just picking up the pad... It doesn't seem to be a budget-friendly pad option.

  Tip

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin, my morning routine of pad-moisturizer-sunscreen-foundation worked well together, but using it with serums and ampoules felt a bit heavy.

  Pros

  1. Unlike my previous toner pads, these come with tweezers, which seems more hygienic to use. 2. After using it for about a week, my acne-prone, oily skin didn't develop any blemishes! 3. It's packed with ampoule and made of pure cotton, making it perfect for a daily mask routine (I love how it leaves my skin super hydrated after masking). 4. The design is so pretty that I was visually pleased when I first received it!

  Cons

  1. There's a somewhat strong perfume-like scent... While it seems to be a gentle toner pad, I wonder why they needed to add such a fragrance. The ingredients are good, but the scent makes me hesitant. 2. The price... It might struggle to compete due to its high cost. There are many toner pads with good ingredients and value for money, but 38,000 won for 60 pads seems a bit less appealing price-wise. Especially considering many people buy toner pads for daily masking.

  Tip

  I keep my skincare products in the fridge and use them cool - it gives a cooling effect while locking in hydration at the same time!

  Pros

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. As someone who frequently uses pads, it's honestly difficult to say definitively how effective they are on their own. However, these don't cause any major blemishes and have a nice thickness, making them not bad for daily use. Aside from one minor drawback, these pads are good enough that I'd consider purchasing them myself. I also appreciated how hygienic the container is, with a well-designed slot for the tweezers.

  Cons

  When using this product, I experienced quite a strong burning sensation on my face. Even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, this product alone caused a stinging pain. Despite the burning sensation, it didn't cause any other blemishes.

  Tip

  I used these pads as a mask on my forehead and both cheeks for about 5 minutes, morning and evening. I always kept the pads in the refrigerator before use. There's nothing quite like these for quickly calming the skin.

  1. Texture and Application The ampoule is generously soaked. The included tweezers make it easy to apply, and the pads aren't rough at all. They really are pure cotton pads as claimed - quite impressive! 2. Sensitivity As someone with super sensitive skin, I experienced no blemishes at all. In fact, when it's hot outside, applying these cool pads helps reduce facial heat significantly. 3. Hydration It's great. After use, my skin feels moisturized. Gently patting it in for a while seems to enhance absorption. In the morning, I can just use this and follow with an emulsion, and my skin feels hydrated. For reference, I have oily skin. However, I think it would work well as a first step for dry skin types too.

  Cons

  1. Fragrance This could definitely be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. I found it okay, but some people might be put off using it because of the scent.

  Tip

  I recommend keeping it in the fridge and using it cool. It's really effective for reducing facial heat.
