I used this ampoule cream last night and this morning, and unfortunately developed contact dermatitis. At first, I noticed a rash that looked like mosquito bites, so I immediately washed it off and applied something else. While the reaction subsided somewhat, I still have some hive-like bumps. I bought this after seeing great reviews on YouTube, but it doesn't suit my skin at all. I'm quite shocked as I've never had such a reaction to a skincare product before.

This cream absorbs beautifully, feeling like luxurious velvet on the skin. It also provides a cooling effect, thanks to the azulene ingredient.

The price... The price is seriously, seriously steep!

The soothing effect of this product is absolutely incredible... I'm speaking from experience - it made my blemishes disappear overnight! Although I did build up some tolerance over time, it's still amazing for calming troubled skin. As someone prone to blemishes and sensitivity, with skin that easily flushes or heats up, this product gradually reduces that warmth and leaves my skin feeling serene. It's particularly effective when used at the first sign of a breakout, noticeably speeding up the calming process. 

The hydration is perfect - not too heavy, yet delightfully moisturizing! It's not as light as a pure water cream, but it feels like it creates a protective barrier that really helps combat deep dryness.

And oh my goodness, the next day skin transformation is mind-blowing... My complexion becomes incredibly soft and radiant, like a baby's skin! It's a total game-changer for skin quality.

Since azulene is light-sensitive, I mainly use this at night and recommend applying sunscreen during the day.

I'm satisfied with it as a soothing moisturizer and would recommend it for that purpose. However, I can't yet comment on its effectiveness for brightening or wrinkles.

I have combination dehydrated skin with blemishes in the T-zone. I've been using this for about a month after searching for an evening soothing cream and liking its ingredients. The fragrance-free, cooling sensation makes it seem suitable for summer use too. I'll need to use it longer to gauge its effectiveness on brightening and wrinkles. I'm hoping it will also help with the small bumps on my forehead after extended use.

Unfortunately, it's not effective and quite expensive. Even for very dry skin, it feels light even after multiple applications. The container is a jar type, which feels unhygienic, and it looks small for 50ml, making it impractical for frequent use. I wonder if I'll see any results by the time I finish it.

The ingredients are truly excellent. It has a pleasant tea tree scent, and contains everything from centella to azulene.

The price is definitely on the high side, whew! But I still buy it often because it's so good!

Cons: Well... As you can see from my skin type, my eye area is extremely sensitive, and my skin is prone to over-exfoliation and barrier damage.

1. When applied around the eyes, it causes stinging and tearing. 
At first, I naively applied the cream all over my face... My eyes... they stung so much... If you have sensitive skin around your eyes, please make sure to test a sample before purchasing.

2. If your skin barrier is compromised, applying Azulene might worsen the condition rather than improve it. 
I bought this Azulene cream partly because it was marketed as a barrier cream, but... it had no effect on me. Just nothing. It only caused irritation and made things worse, so please use a gentle, mild cream instead... For those who haven't found their perfect cream yet, something unremarkable but gentle might be more beneficial than something supposedly outstanding.

Skin type: Extremely sensitive to exfoliation, prone to redness, ultra-sensitive. Extremely dry in winter, combination in summer. Eyes are incredibly sensitive - can't use organic UV filters in sunscreens, and eye creams with harsh ingredients cause irritation and dryness.

Texture: A very lightweight gel-cream. Even lighter than Tory's soothing cream. While that soothing cream leaves a subtle moisturizing feeling, this Azulene cream finishes with a subtle, elegant touch (irrelevant for extremely dry skin though - you'll need a rich moisturizer on top to survive anyway).

Pros: Not sure about the tea tree concentration, but there's a strong tea tree scent in the cream. Its standout feature is a very refreshing cooling effect, and after absorption, it leaves the skin feeling firm and supple.
