Although it's a sample, the amount is too small and it's expensive. There's no inner cap or seal on the container, so it just pours out freely.

This is a very lightweight water essence. I soaked half a cotton pad and used it like a toner mask. It left my skin feeling hydrated and seemed to improve my skin texture.

Skin type: Combination dehydrated sensitive skin

My skin has a clear before and after with this product! You must try it! As the weather's gotten drier, my skin's deep dryness worsened, leading to an imbalance in oil and moisture. By afternoon, excess oil would be noticeable, emphasizing pores, uneven complexion, and blemishes. This made me really interested in hydrating, soothing, and brightening products! I was already a fan of Oera's Hydra Lift line for tackling deep dryness and improving skin texture, so I had high hopes for the Essence for Calibrating Care. The texture is more like a water toner than a typical essence.

I used it hoping for instant hydration and radiance (the Hydra Lift line really absorbs well into the skin). The very next day, all the little bumps on my forehead disappeared... Curious about the effects, I only applied it to half my face the first night, and the difference was striking. All day long, my deep dryness improved, leading to better oil and moisture balance. I needed less touch-ups, and my skin looked healthier overall. While results may vary, I plan to keep using it consistently. Oera is love!

There's nothing bad to say, honestly. If I had to nitpick, maybe the size? Please make a larger version available!

The fragrance is absolutely delightful, and after application, it leaves a natural glow on my face. I use it as a toner substitute, and it's fantastic. The spray dispenser also works really well.
