  If it only had smaller particles, it could have worked as a gentle scrub without irritation and provided a smoothing effect.

  1. The coix seed particles were too large, so when I used it on my face, I had to remove it without rubbing as shown in the advertisement. 2. The ad claimed it was good for atopic skin, and although I don't have atopy, I recently had itchy arms. So I tried scrubbing it the same way. As you can see in the photo, my skin became severely inflamed - either dermatitis or hives - and the itching intensified. It's as if I'm on the verge of developing atopy when I didn't have it before.

  For those with sensitive skin or blemish-prone complexions, it's crucial to patch test new products, especially exfoliants. This scrub seems too harsh for facial use, particularly for those with delicate or compromised skin barriers. Always consult with a dermatologist if you experience any adverse reactions or persistent skin issues.

  I bought this because I heard it's good for calming skin heat, even though the granules might cause some irritation. As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to facial heat, I tried it on a day when my skin was in good condition and found the coarse granules weren't bad at all. It rinses off with a clay mask-like consistency. I plan to use it consistently.

  Given the large granules, it's probably best to avoid using this when your skin is super sensitive.

  I exfoliate, then apply the Job's Tears Skin Clean Pack, followed by layering toner, essence, and cream in that order.

  Try as I might, I can't find a single positive thing to say about this product.

  Cons

  I bought this after watching an influencer promote it on a live shopping event. Without checking reviews thoroughly, I fell for claims that it was good for milia and seborrheic keratosis. Now I'm getting treatment at a dermatologist for inflammation, which I've never needed before. Not only is it poor value for money, but the post-use cleanup is also incredibly cumbersome. Unlike regular wash-off masks, the large particles need to be removed and disposed of separately.

  Tip

  This mask is far more irritating than typical stimulating face masks or peel-off masks. I strongly advise against using it.

  I love the packaging! It's so easy to apply, which is great.

  Cons

  It runs out too quickly for the price, feeling like a waste of money. It's slippery, and you'd be better off just making a mask with job's tears. It doesn't feel fresh, just slippery. It's not a soothing mask... After using it, I'm not sure what benefits it provides. Disappointing that I didn't see any results. The particles are a bit large, so it might be irritating for sensitive skin.

  It's very slippery and doesn't wash off easily, so you need to rinse multiple times to remove it completely.
