When I pat it on my face with the puff, it seems to slightly cover pores and control oil, making it great to use after applying sunscreen. I had been using another brand's #21 shade compact, which I was a bit dissatisfied with as it came out slightly darker than a typical #21. However, this product, true to its 21 Natural Beige name, doesn't leave me looking ghostly pale but gives me a nicely brightened complexion that I'm really happy with. The dull compact I used before was 12g and more expensive than this one, but the Makeup Helper compact is 25g, more affordable, and performs its function as a compact well. While it might take some time to use it all up, I'd definitely want to repurchase it.
ConsThe scent doesn't last long, but it has a somewhat strong fragrance that might be polarizing for some people.
TipInstead of pressing the puff onto your face after picking up the product, try patting it on gently. This method seems to cover pores well and applies a thin, even layer.

Since I mainly carry powder compacts for touch-ups, the aesthetics are important, and this one is full of sparkle and beauty. The texture is lightweight without being too thin, and the color isn't dull - it just lightly covers imperfections. It's perfect for oil control in the summer. The large size makes it easy to use the mirror, and you only need a few swipes to apply the powder evenly without caking.
ConsWhile there aren't any major downsides, the scent is quite strong - similar to what you'd smell walking past a department store beauty counter. This might be off-putting for those with sensitive noses. Also, while the large size is a plus, I'm concerned about finding replacement puffs that fit when it's time to change them, as they might not be readily available in stores.
TipWhen applying powder after your makeup has been on for a while, avoid pressing the puff directly onto your skin, as this can cause the oil and powder to clump. Instead, first blot the excess oil with a tissue, then lightly dust on the powder for a smoother finish.
