The shade isn't pure white, but has a pinkish off-white tone. For shade 13, it doesn't dramatically enhance dimension. It's more suitable as a base for blush or for blurring skin texture and creating a clean finish, rather than for highlighting. Personally, I prefer highlighters that significantly enhance dimension, even if they have a thicker texture. For non-shimmer highlighters, I found Les Beiges and Wakemake to be superior.

Not recommended as a setting powder for extending makeup wear. The powder is too dry for that purpose. However, it's ideal for those with dry skin who prefer a matte finish, or for those with uneven complexion who struggle with blush application.

The texture is buttery, similar to the Mood Blushers, effectively blurring pores and texture. While suitable as a blush, it may not be sufficient as an all-over powder for oily skin with prominent pores. It's best suited for those with smaller pores and normal to dry skin who prefer pressed powders with good color payoff over finely-milled loose powders.

In conclusion, for those with pale skin tones (shades 13-17) that easily flush, this works best as a neutralizing base for cheek color rather than as a powder or non-shimmer highlighter.

Great for creating a smooth base. It's perfect for lightly applying to areas where oil tends to surface.

It's great for applying to larger areas like you would with powder, and also works well for reducing shine in specific spots. Best of all, when your blush turns out too intense, it's perfect for toning it down as a sheer veil.

While it would have been nice if it came in a larger size for multi-purpose use, I'm not too disappointed with the size since it's part of an existing line.

The texture is silky smooth and buttery. It's not pure white, but has a subtle pink tint that makes it even prettier. The product absorbs naturally, controlling oil without feeling greasy.

When used as a base under other blushes, it really helps the colors pop beautifully. Pro tip: Mude's new products are usually cheapest right after launch during their 1+1 promotions!

For pore coverage purposes, it's a bit pricey compared to similar powder compacts, considering the amount you get.

This product is great for covering small pores in the T-zone when applying makeup. The particles are coarser than typical powder compacts, more like blush particles. It has a subtle pink tint that brightens the applied areas and provides good pore coverage! There wasn't much excess powder, and I loved how it color-corrected when used as a base under blush that tends to look red on my skin, making it blend seamlessly with my complexion.
