My skin tends to be rough, so I was looking for a color with minimal redness to downplay my pores. The result? Absolutely thrilled! It's similar to my natural lip color, filling in any faded areas beautifully. 🤎 The texture starts off mud-like but spreads powdery-soft. It's amazing how it tidies up dead skin cells... though it does transfer a bit, haha. Being a deep undertone, I've always kept my distance from 3CE, but I'm in love with this formula! 🤎 Perfectly matte with zero glow. Plus, you get great color payoff with just a small amount! 🤎 The shade is a mocha brown. It's Pinterest-worthy... you know what I mean? (Perfect for that trendy makeup look) The official site calls it a warm muted brown (which seems accurate). 🤎 When you layer a cream lip balm on top, it suddenly transforms into a gorgeous brown.
Cons🤔 Longevity issues? Transfers quite a bit. 🤔 It leaves a very slight brown stain (barely noticeable on my naturally brownish lips). 🤔 The packaging looks a bit odd, though it does seem sturdy (personal preference). 🤔 The amount seems small (I'll update after using it more).
TipSeeing how deep undertone lips don't really suit my bare face, I'm starting to think it might be better to just consider warm vs. cool tones for bare lip looks. Make sure to test this before buying - it might look unexpectedly different on some people. Definitely not for cool skin tones, absolutely not!
