I was a bit surprised when I first applied it right before going out, but thankfully it goes on thinner than regular polish and seems to dry faster. It gives nails a subtle pink shimmer that makes your hands look pretty even if they're not perfectly manicured. I liked that it applies clear, so you don't have to worry about being precise. At work, I'm always rough on my nails, using them to open staples and tear tape. This often leads to splitting and vertical ridges. But after using this product, the tips of my nails seemed healthier.
ConsWhen you open the bottle, there's a strong whiff of that typical nail polish smell - alcohol or acetone maybe? That was a bit disappointing. The pink color also has quite a red undertone, which made my nails look overly flushed for the first day or two. It was almost like that redness you get when you press your fingertips hard - it took some getting used to! However, it does fade to a more transparent shade after a few days. I got it on sale for $14, which is still a bit pricey even though a little goes a long way and it should last a while.
