It doesn't have a texture that deeply nourishes from within, so it's better to use a hydrating essence first and then apply this to create a moisturizing layer on top. It absorbs well and feels moisturizing. Even when facing cold winter winds, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. It's a bit rich for my skin type. Other than that, I have no complaints.
