Not exactly a pro tip, but applying a very small amount for a gradient effect and then lightly coating with Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm works well.

The typical accentuation of dead skin cells with velvet tints is unavoidable, but it's less noticeable with this one compared to others. The color is on the dark and intense side, so you might not use it often. However, it could be perfect for your ex's wedding if you want to make a statement.

If you're looking for a deep tint for cool-toned winter skin, this isn't a bad choice. The color payoff is no joke - a tiny amount is enough to spread evenly. While the shade is quite intense, using just a small amount can give you a subtly deep look.

For me, it's just a tad too warm. It's definitely not an extremely cool-toned shade.

Despite its 'Blueberry' name, it's not a pure purple plum lip color. When you open it, you'll find it's a burgundy with a subtle plum tint and a slightly warm undertone. The application and staying power are quite good. It's perfect for those times when you want to switch from your usual light undertone plum lip to something more red-toned.

The downside is the strong scent, which might be overwhelming for those sensitive to fragrances. Also, the actual color is much deeper than the packaging suggests, so don't buy based on the outer appearance alone. (Especially for this shade, as the color on the official website differs slightly from the actual color. I recommend testing it in-store before purchasing!) The transfer... seems unavoidable due to the formula.

10 # Cynical Blueberry Pretense is a gochujang-like blueberry shade that's perfect for Winter Cool Deep tones. It has a slight blue tinge but with enough brown to work as an accent lip for Autumn Warm tones bordering on Winter.

Compared to rom&nd's Juicy Lasting Tint (Sparkling Juicy series) 17 Plum Coke, Lilybyred definitely has a warmer brick undertone.

I fell in love with this unique deep burgundy shade after swatching it in-store. While it might seem intimidating, Winter Cool Deep tones can pull it off naturally. It's also suitable for Autumn Warm Deep tones who can handle winter colors and want a cool vibe. Personally, I think it's perfect for fall and winter.

I use this to deepen my lip tone after applying lip balm and a creamy tint as a base. The color is definitely beautiful. It stains well, making it great for dates that involve eating.

1. I was expecting a deep plum lip color, but it's closer to a burgundy with a subtle blue undertone. It's so red that even Lip:cun's Crimson Lake appears to have more of a blue tint. On the lips, it looks even redder. For someone like me whose lips are naturally dark or tend to make any lip color appear reddish, this just ends up looking like a deep burgundy wine shade. 2. While the longevity is decent, it transfers quite a bit. Some transfer is unavoidable with lipsticks, but this one transfers more than usual.

I have a dark winter complexion and use shade 23. Low brightness and low saturation colors work best for me, with plum and deep purple lip colors being the most flattering. This shade is definitely a perfect match for winter dark skin types, especially those who look good in medium-low brightness tones. The lipstick applies smoothly and has rich pigmentation. I know there were issues with loose cases and leakage in previous lip products, but this line closes tightly with no such problems.
