Even though I'm a summer mute, I'm still using this lip product. It has relatively weak pigmentation, so I tend to use it as a base lip color often! The 2nd and 3rd photos are with just the Dolce Vita shade, and the 4th and 5th photos are with the Vanilla Co. Pollen Mauve layered on top.
ConsCompared to the swatch, it ends up looking much whiter on the lips. It's also not the most long-lasting, and it really tends to wear off easily. It doesn't cling to the lips like a typical tint, but rather just sits on top, feeling almost like a superconductor barely floating there. Even the slightest touch can make it disappear... It also emphasizes flaky lips quite a bit, so I can only wear it when my lips are in good condition, which is a bit disappointing.
TipI think it would work well as a base lip color. It could be used to extend the lip line, or applied before a deeper tint, since the white cast helps prevent the tint from looking too dark. But because it wears off so easily, blotting with tissue is a must!
