I use a thin lip pencil to draw an over-lip line (Clio Velvet Lip Pencil #2). Then I apply the Holika lip pencil thinly and widely (as a substitute for lip concealer and base). I finish with a moisturizing lip product to add volume and achieve that Inner Glow.

The pencil is quite thick, so it's not easy to draw precise lip lines. That's why I've been sharpening it at an angle to use it.

It's great as a lip base rather than for defining lip lines. It's excellent for evening out lip color and providing coverage.

Even when fully retracted, about 5mm still sticks out, making it inconvenient to close the cap.

It covers lip color well without letting it show through. Seems like the best lip pencil out there. The orange-coral shade is really pretty.

The color is brighter than expected. Since it's closer to a base lip product, it might not be suitable for precise application.

It's quite thick, feeling more like a base lip product than a lip pencil. It applies smoothly and smudges well. Once it sets, the staying power isn't bad at all.
