- Gentle and non-irritating Even with my super sensitive skin, I could use this without any redness or tingling sensation. It's a great product for retinol beginners, causing no stress to the skin. - Lightweight formula The thin and hydrating watery texture absorbs quickly with absolutely no stickiness. It's perfect for use even during summer without feeling heavy. If I had to nitpick, the product comes in a glass bottle, which isn't the most convenient for carrying around. While the design is sleek and pretty, it's a bit heavy to pack in a toiletry bag when traveling. However, I wonder if they chose glass packaging specifically because of the retinol ingredient! It's best not to use this alongside products containing other potentially irritating ingredients! For example, high-concentration vitamin C essences or exfoliating AHA/BHA products can be too harsh on the skin when combined with retinol. If you must use them together, I recommend separating them between your morning and evening routines, or alternating days of use. - rk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 14, 2025
When I first started using this product, I was worried because I have super sensitive skin. But this cream caused no irritation or blemishes at all, and it even helped with my deep dryness. It's great for use all year round! The next day, my skin texture feels smooth and my makeup applies beautifully. I had tried Goodal's Vita C serum before, but it made my skin tingle and caused breakouts, so I stopped using Goodal products. However, I think I'll keep using this one! There's absolutely nothing to complain about, and with frequent sales at Olive Young, the price seems quite reasonable too! When used together with the black carrot cream, my skin becomes incredibly smooth and soft by the next morning! - fu**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2025
Despite containing retinol, the concentration seems to be just right. It's gentle enough that even with my sensitive skin, I've been using it without any blemishes or irritation. I've even repurchased it. There wasn't anything particularly bad. However, for a retinol product, I didn't notice rapid or significant effects, which might be worth mentioning. After applying toner, I use this product, and it completely eliminates dryness even in midsummer (I have oily skin). Adding a layer of moisturizer on top is perfect. Since it contains retinol, don't forget to apply sunscreen when using it in the morning. - be*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 19, 2025
This is a review after using two bottles. I purchased it because the retinol ingredient seems to suit me well. While the high-performance ingredient can be irritating, it is easily absorbed and I used it comfortably without any significant irritation, which is the biggest advantage. It is also quickly absorbed, and the fragrance is moderate. I'm not sure about the effects I expected from retinol. Even if it's not a very high concentration, using a retinol product at night usually makes my skin condition significantly better the next morning, so I like retinol. But with this product, I didn't really feel that temporary improvement effect, and even after using two bottles in a row, I'm still not sure. It's disappointing. - cj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2025
I'm not sure if it's incredibly effective, but when I apply it thinking it might work, I feel like it's having some effect on my pores While the price is a bit disappointing, it's still worth paying for. Good, good, good! - oh*****Dry SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2025
It absorbs beautifully and feels like it's deeply hydrating my skin from within. There's no stickiness, and it sinks in really well. It's frustrating that you can't reach the bottom of the container. To use it all up, you have to shake it vigorously like you're trying to get the last bit of shampoo out. - ji********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2025
Since it doesn't contain a high concentration of retinol, I didn't notice any specific effects, but it worked well as a daily serum I have sensitive skin, but even when I apply it generously, my face doesn't react negatively. This suggests the retinol content is quite low - su******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 1, 2025
Here's my review after using it for a month. It's entirely subjective. - Scent: Not particularly noticeable - Effects: Can't say much about wrinkle improvement, but it definitely makes my skin texture smoother. - Feel: Neither extremely hydrating nor oily. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't cause any blemishes. Additional notes: - I used this alongside Innisfree's retinol toner. While the toner stung when it touched my acne spots, surprisingly, this ampoule didn't cause any tingling sensation. - I bought this as part of a 1+1 deal and gave one to my friend with oily, acne-prone skin. At first, she said it pilled under her makeup the next day, but now she seems to be using it well. It didn't cause major blemishes for her skin type either. I initially bought it based on a recommendation from a friend with dry skin, and I chose this product because I heard Goodal products are gentle. - If you want to use retinol in an ampoule form, I recommend Goodal's. It's a skincare product you won't regret buying. The dropper doesn't draw up much product, so you need to apply it twice - once on each cheek. It's a bit inconvenient to have to do this double action. I mainly use it at night because I need to apply sunscreen during the day. Also, I don't use it every night of the week. Some days I want to focus on hydration instead. - an**********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 23, 2025
I highly recommend this as an introductory retinol product. I've heard that high concentrations can be harsh on the skin, but this product is excellent for helping your skin adapt. It's a great way to ease into retinol use. Due to its lower concentration, you might not see dramatic, eye-catching results. However, I found the formulation to be quite suitable and pleasant overall. - ha*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
I appreciated that the ingredients were gentler compared to other products and left my skin feeling nicely moisturized. Unfortunately, it caused blemishes on my sensitive skin, so I couldn't use it for long.
