Moisturizing and doesn't easily cause breakouts. Recommended even for sensitive skin! There is a slight sense of slippage and buoyancy, so skincare should be done very lightly. - bu******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2025
First, I have combination dehydrated skin that's quite thin, and while it's not constant, my skin often acts up during seasonal changes. Outside of those transition periods, in full summer or winter, my skin is actually really good. Just for reference! I discovered this product last summer, and when I first used it, I was telling everyone I'd found my holy grail foundation. The pros - From the first application, the formula is so hydration-packed that even a makeup novice like me could apply it super easily. Despite that, it gives a flawless porcelain skin finish and has amazing staying power. I was constantly getting asked which dermatologist I go to and what skincare I use. The cons - This could really just be my personal skin issue or due to other factors, but since everything else in my routine stayed the same, I think this might be the reason... Anyway, after using this religiously for about 6 months, I started noticing oil gradually building up on my face. As someone who loves that Inner Glow look, I actually thought this was good and used it even more intensely... Eventually, I got these tiny pus-filled bumps on my face. I thought it wasn't a big deal and popped them, but it turned out to be folliculitis. You know how follicular mites feed on oil, right? And if you pop them, they spread all over... It was my first time ever getting folliculitis, and it spread across my entire face. I've been going to the dermatologist and taking medication, but due to side effects causing constant rebound flare-ups, I had to stop the meds and ointments. I ended up paying the equivalent of plastic surgery costs at a clinic specializing in folliculitis treatment. The product performance is truly amazing, so even those with thin and super sensitive skin like me might be able to use it. However, I'd recommend not using it daily. Instead, save it for important days and make sure to take breaks in between uses.
