  I've learned that just diligently applying stretch mark cream doesn't necessarily prevent stretch marks... From late pregnancy, about a month before giving birth, I started noticing some stretch marks appearing. Even after delivery, they were still there. A friend told me that mixing stretch mark cream with oil works wonders, so I started using Bioderma's all-in-one oil. I've been a fan of Bioderma's lip balm since college days 10 years ago. When I was working, I always stocked up on their large emulsion bottles at duty-free shops during overseas trips. That's how well this line has suited my atopic, sensitive skin. (When I say it suits my super sensitive skin, I mean the ingredients are gentle and the hydration is excellent!) Now that we're entering the dry season, here's a tip: mix a couple of drops with water when cleansing to prevent that tight, dry feeling on your skin. When combined with emulsion or body products, it seems to double the moisturizing power! I tend to get a lot of dead skin cells on my feet... After mixing the oil with body emulsion and wearing socks to bed, I woke up to beautifully soft soles. My baby's newborn skin became very dry after the placenta detached. Mixing this oil with emulsion and applying it really helped soothe the flaky skin. Bioderma is truly a godsend for those with sensitive, dry skin. I wholeheartedly recommend this brand - it's one you can trust and use with confidence.

  If you have oily skin, applying this to your face might make it feel greasy or sit on top of the skin without absorbing well.

  Pros

  Oh...? Despite the negative reviews, I was so curious that I bought it during a sale! I have combination dehydrated skin! First off, even though Bioderma is a famous brand, I don't usually care about that...? Because even highly-praised cosmetics often don't work for me, so I was just neutral, but for some reason I was really curious about this product. After using an exfoliating toner and applying this like a regular toner, I felt it moisturized well and gave a nice glow. I've been using it morning and night for over a week, and I can really feel my skin texture improving. The deep dryness has disappeared, which is quite amazing... Even though I apply a lot at night to combat dryness, I don't use much in the morning because I'm active and go outside, which can make my skin oily. But even when I just use the exfoliating toner, this Bioderma product, one ampoule, and one cream in the morning, I don't experience any deep dryness. There's no dryness or tightness during the day until I cleanse at night. It even seems to control shine a bit. Highly recommended! No blemishes appeared (it actually reduced some small bumps), and it seems to have a calming effect! The hydration is excellent (without feeling heavy at all). Try mixing it with your cream, it's even better!

  Cons

  It does have a slightly rich feel, so after applying this, it can be a bit tricky to open other skincare product lids! That's really the only drawback...

  Tip

  This shouldn't be the first product you apply after cleansing. I recommend using a toner or essence first. Because it has a somewhat rich texture, it can take a while for subsequent products to absorb!
