  Lucky me! I got selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and used this product for a week. Here's my review~ These days, I only use sunscreen and foundation. I've been using this as my first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser. ✔️Pros: 1. While I don't wear heavy makeup, it seems to remove sunscreen and foundation effectively. 2. It emulsifies quickly, which is great for an impatient person like me! 3. The ingredients are gentle. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. 4. It's a vegan product, so you can care for the environment and animal rights too! 5. The lightweight, refreshing feel made cleansing effortless and comfortable.

  Cons

  The product claims to provide 'pore-perfect cleansing' and 'blackhead removal', but unfortunately, I didn't see any effects in these areas. When I've used other cleansing oils, I could feel at least some sebum being removed from my nose, even if not completely. But with this product, so much was left behind... As someone with oily nose pores, this was really disappointing.

  Tip

  If you use cleansing oil as your first step, followed by foam cleansing, you can not only get rid of that slippery feeling after using the oil, but also ensure a thorough cleanse that removes any residue from your skin through the second wash.

  When it comes to managing blackheads on the nose, nothing beats a good cleansing oil. Not only does it effectively remove makeup, but it's also great for thoroughly cleansing off modern sunscreens that can be stubborn to remove. That's why I place such importance on thorough cleansing. This product ticks all the boxes: 1. It's a gentle, low-irritation oil 2. It removes makeup effectively 3. It emulsifies well, rinses off easily with water, leaving no residue 4. It's excellent at removing excess sebum 5. It doesn't leave the skin feeling tight or dry I was really satisfied with this product because it gives a clean feeling without being harsh, and the overall experience of using it was great.

  If I had to nitpick, I'd say the scent might be divisive. Some people might love it, others might not. Personally, I don't place much importance on fragrance, so it didn't bother me.

  1. Cleansing effectiveness for makeup removal It showed impressive cleansing power for base makeup, cushion foundation, blush, and lip products. Even with just the first cleanse, it effectively removed most of the makeup. Since I use a black lash serum instead of mascara, it was sufficient for my needs. The emulsification process worked well, and you could see the makeup coming off when it turned white upon contact with water. 2. Texture Unlike the heavy richness typically associated with cleansing oils, this one felt light and convenient for removing light makeup. I'm not a fan of thick textures, so I appreciated how comfortable this was to use.

  1. Pump dispenser As you can see in the photo, the first pump sprays product everywhere. It's fine from the second pump onwards, but that initial spray is really problematic. I noticed other reviewers mentioned this issue too, so it's worth keeping in mind. 2. Blackhead and sebum removal Perhaps due to its lightweight feel, it didn't seem very effective at removing blackheads or excess sebum.

  - Scent: Sometimes when you buy the wrong oil, it can have that unpleasant greasy smell. This one, however, has almost none of that. It has more of a herbal scent, which I'm quite satisfied with. - Cleansing effectiveness: It even removed my Kiss Me eyeliner well! Even before emulsifying, its makeup removal power was impressive. - While it might take a bit more rubbing to remove whiteheads, I'm still satisfied with its performance as an oil cleanser.

  Cons

  The packaging is a bit inconvenient as the product comes out with a 'whoosh' when you press it, which can cause splashing. I haven't experienced any blemishes yet, which is good. For those prone to blemishes, I'd suggest following up the oil cleanse with a stronger, foaming cleanser rather than a mild one. This double-cleansing method should help prevent any potential breakouts.
