I always struggle with deep dryness due to seasonal allergies, but this spring was much more manageable thanks to this serum. Personally, I find that richer products work better for my skin's hydration needs. Lightweight, quick-absorbing products always left my skin feeling dry. After testing other serums for a few days and feeling extremely dry, I came back to this one. Instantly, my skin felt hydrated and velvety smooth. I highly recommend this to anyone dealing with deep dehydration!
ConsThe fragrance seems a bit unnecessary. It's not overpowering, but it's not particularly pleasant either.

Skin type: Very dry Skin concerns: Fine lines, pigmentation, elasticity Among the various ampoules I've tested, this Dermatory Hyalashot Barrier Ampoule was the best for deep hydration. ✔️ Texture The rich formula feels deeply hydrating, and after absorption, it leaves the skin feeling moist, supple, and bouncy. When you touch your skin, it feels plump and elastic. Not sticky at all. ✔️ Resolves deep dryness I've tried many ampoules, but this one uniquely feels like it's 'marinating' the skin from within. It creates a smooth base that allows subsequent emulsions or creams to glide on effortlessly, truly transforming the skin's foundation. (Pardon my limited ability to express this sensation!) ✔️ Improves skin texture As it addresses deep dryness, functional products or moisturizers applied afterwards seem to absorb much better, and you can actually see the difference. The skin becomes noticeably more supple - it's not just a feeling, you can sense it under your fingertips. In short, your skin truly changes. While this product alone isn't responsible for all the effects, it certainly works in synergy with other products I use
Cons➖️ Fragrance Even as someone who prefers fragrance-free products, I didn't find the scent particularly off-putting. However, it has a subtle aquatic or marine note, often referred to as a 'water scent', reminiscent of sports fragrances. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to those who find water scents nauseating or generally dislike products with added fragrances.
TipWhen using this ampoule, I mix in a drop or two of Nano Recipe's D-Panthenol Ampoule, and the combination is absolutely fantastic. This pairing is one of the reasons I reach for it so often. (I don't pre-mix them in the bottle, but apply appropriate amounts of each separately on the skin and blend while spreading.) Note: The panthenol concentrate ampoule can feel sticky and slow to absorb if used alone or in large quantities. Since you're mixing them anyway, the order doesn't matter much, but as the hydrating ampoule tends to run, it's best to have the panthenol ampoule's cap open beforehand or apply the panthenol first in small dots. I personally apply the hydrating ampoule alone all over my face first and let it absorb. Then, I dot half to one drop of the panthenol ampoule on each cheek, followed by half a dropper of the hydrating ampoule on each cheek, and blend them together. The result is much more supple, smooth, and bouncy! It's a synergy of Dermatory's hydration and D-Panthenol's powerful moisturizing effects. Highly recommended for very dry skin!!!
