If I had to pick something, it would be the scent. It smells a bit like, how should I put it, 'mom's makeup'.

I like that the texture isn't watery - it's more on the thick side, which I prefer when applying (personally, I'm not a fan of watery formulas). It absorbs quickly after application. To describe it, it feels rich when it goes on, then melts into the skin as it's absorbed. My skin is super sensitive, and I usually get itchy right away with harsh or chemical-heavy products, but I had no issues with this one, even though it's not marketed as organic or natural. It's on the pricier side, and I wasn't familiar with the brand before. I stumbled upon it while browsing HHM shopping and feel like I got a good deal compared to others. Oh, and the spatula? It's unique! Other products come with tiny ones that I always lose, but this one is big and screams 'I'm a spatula!' so I'm sure I won't misplace it.

As someone with oily skin, I appreciated the matte finish. However, those with extremely dry skin might find this finish a bit too matte for their liking.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes when using heavy, sticky products despite deep dryness, I loved how quickly this absorbs and leaves a fresh, matte finish. Since it's said to help with brightening and firmness too, I'll keep using it for a while.

It's quite pricey... I wish the price point was a bit more reasonable.

As soon as you open the inner lid, you're greeted by a thick, luscious cream. While it's not the smoothest to apply due to its rich texture, it absorbs surprisingly well for its consistency. Waking up to velvety-soft skin is such a delightful feeling! Plus, the generous amount you get is a nice bonus.
