I have combination dehydrated skin. This is perfect for summer use! It applies moisturizing but sets to a semi-matte finish, which helps control oil in areas like the cheeks and sides of the nose. The staying power is really impressive. Hera seems to know how to make quality cosmetics. I'd recommend using this more in summer than winter. Those with oily skin could probably use it year-round. I have extremely oily skin. While I don't use Double Wear due to its application and peeling issues, this one seems just right. It applies thinly without feeling heavy, has great absorption, excellent staying power, and doesn't break down messily. I can't imagine getting through summer without this. I thought I was around shade 22, so I tried 21 first, but bought a higher shade due to darkening. It applies with a bright finish, and when it darkens later, it's just perfect. There's a slight deep dryness. It does darken over time. Pore coverage isn't great, so I recommend using it with a primer. Due to the darkening effect, I suggest choosing a shade lighter than your usual skin tone. Alternatively, use a corrector or brightening moisturizer before applying your regular shade. Since there's some deep dryness, make sure to hydrate well before application. For best results, apply a thin layer with a spatula and then blend it in with a damp sponge.
