But not a burning sensation! No redness either * As someone who prefers unscented products, I didn't notice any particular smell, so it didn't bother me
Cons* The effects aren't super dramatic (which could damage your skin barrier if they were), but skincare products that weren't absorbing well due to dead skin cells started to sink in nicely after using this pad and finishing with essence Think of it as gently dissolving the outermost layer of dead skin! * There's no hygienic tweezer included, boo-hoo * Please increase the amount of essence... it dries out too quickly
TipThe esthetician at the skincare clinic I go to said that over-exfoliating with peeling pads can damage the skin barrier, so instead of rubbing or wiping, she advised to place the AHA pad on the skin and gently press to release the essence. Following her advice, even my sensitive skin experienced some gentle exfoliation with the AHA pad!! It doesn't completely remove all dead skin cells, but that's actually better for maintaining a healthy skin barrier!
