ProsOverall rating: 4.5
This mask has a delightful, fresh rose scent. Sometimes during my home care routine, even if a product is good, I might not reach for it if the fragrance isn't pleasant (I usually prefer unscented). But this mask's rose essential oil aroma is truly therapeutic.
After using this mask, I notice:
- A subtle improvement in my complexion
- An indescribable clarity to my skin
- A soothing effect
- Slightly refined texture
- A boost of hydration!
It's just an all-around product that gently enhances your overall skin condition!
I like to mix it with the Chaga Red Serum - the color combination is beautiful when applied this way.
ConsThey advertise it as a 'Snow White mask!' and everyone claims to see results, but I'm naturally quite fair-skinned, so I wasn't particularly after the brightening effect (if anything, I'd rather avoid it). It's good for those times when you just want your skin to look a bit more... transparent? Clear?
The brightening effect might not be non-existent, but it's not particularly noticeable. So rather than recommending it solely for its brightening properties, I'd suggest it as a mask for purifying, improving overall complexion, and balancing the skin.
The rose essential oil has a mild, gentle effect on female hormones, so it might be suitable for more mature skin as well.
TipOwner's usage tips and recipe recommendation:
Create a mix with:
2 parts ampoule : 1 part hydrating gel : 4 parts Rosamer So (for dry skin, use 2 parts hydrating gel)
After cleansing, apply toner and serum lightly, then apply the mixture.
Place any hydrating sheet mask (kept in the refrigerator) on top!
>> Leave for 15 minutes (If the sheet mask starts to dry out, apply some toner and a bit of hydrating gel to keep it moist!)
> Remove the mask, gently pat the remaining mixture into your skin, then rinse with cool water
> Complete the rest of your skincare routine
In summary: Mixture + Sheet mask + Remove + Final absorption into skin + Rinse
