When applied to the lips, the color is more vibrant than expected, making it perfect for wearing without makeup! I use shade 23, a deep autumnal tone, and it is a perfect match for me. It has a plumping effect and a glossy, radiant finish that looks beautiful.

There are no particular shortcomings, but the fact that the contents once dispensed cannot be retracted is a bit disappointing.

* Color: Cocoa Jam The reviews were good, so I had high expectations, but it exceeded my expectations! I've tried 7-8 different types of melting lips, and this is one of the highest quality ones. (Excluding the Awre xxx, the Sicor product and the Tony xx product 2 are the best.) Like most melting lips, it doesn't get cakey, so you just need to apply it lightly. There's a slight plumping effect. It's not too intense, just a cooling sensation, so it's not overbearing. The glossy, smooth coating covers lip lines well, and there's hardly any dryness, so it's great to wear in the winter. The color payoff is very good, and the Cocoa Jam color applies quite deeply in 2-3 coats. The color itself is a warm, rosy brown, similar to the Alternative Stereo Cocoa Milk. The saturation is on the lower side, and the brightness is medium. If applied thinly, it's a muted tone, but if built up, it can work well as a deep tone too. Since it's not an extreme warm or cool color, it can work for both fall-warm and winter-cool looks. With this type of formula, there's no staining or long-lasting wear, but you can just wipe it off with a wet wipe and reapply after eating. I prefer this type over tints that get progressively deeper in color. I'd love to try other colors if they come out with more options! Something deeper like a burgundy or a delicate coral would be nice.

The retail price is a bit high, so it's better to buy it when there's a 1+1 sale to get more satisfaction.
