Among all the cosmetics I've used this year, this one has my favorite fragrance! I found that the cream and cream-in-serum from the same line felt a bit more hydrating. Perfect for the changing seasons when I was looking for a moisturizing emulsion! It absorbs well even when applied before makeup without pilling. As I have combination skin, it can get a bit oily around my nose area when I apply it at night before bed, but it's fine for me! It's wonderfully moisturizing. Doesn't cause any blemishes, and seems to be a gentle emulsion. I'm using it together with my middle school-aged son. There's not really anything to complain about. I love how light and gentle it is. It's perfect for summer use. In drier seasons, it works great when paired with a serum. The slightly runny texture feels light when applied, but you can really feel it replenishing both oil and moisture. Unlike the famous yellow cream that felt a bit heavy and made my skin tingle, this product feels comfortable on the skin and I love how hydrating it is. There's no noticeable scent, and while it's not exactly refreshing, it has a lightweight feel. Yet, it manages to keep the skin hydrated for a long time, making it perfect to use in the morning before makeup. During seasonal changes like now, when dead skin cells tend to build up, I find myself applying it two or three more times around areas like the chin and mouth. I've been really satisfied with the cream, so I decided to try the skin emulsion too. It absorbs instantly, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The pump bottle makes it convenient to use. I've had such a great experience with the Holika Holika Cera Barrier Cream that I decided to buy it again, thinking it's exactly what I need as the weather gets warmer. And I was right - it's absolutely fantastic! There's nothing bad to say about the product itself. The only downside is that it's a bit difficult to purchase since there aren't many stores near my home that carry it.
