As someone with dry skin who struggles with dead skin cells even in summer if I don't manage hydration properly, I'm quite picky about moisturizing products! First off, the packaging is absolutely perfect - from its plump, blue-tinted appearance that looks like it's brimming with hydration, to its hygienic dispenser. I noticed that even when I only applied this 7-second serum-in-ampoule over my toner, my skin felt less tight and more satisfied compared to my usual serum or moisturizer. While I don't have particularly sensitive skin, some harsh ingredients can occasionally cause slight redness. However, I experienced no irritation, itching, or allergic reactions with this product at all. There's one aspect that I find quite disappointing, though. The texture... Even as someone who generally likes sticky products, I find this one excessively tacky. I don't mind if it feels a bit sticky upon application, but I wish it would dry down to a more comfortable finish after absorption. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. Because of this, I can't use it before applying makeup. Even if I wait a while before putting on makeup, it tends to cause pilling - and that's without using an excessive amount. I think the best routine for this product is as part of a nighttime skincare regimen. After cleansing thoroughly, apply toner to prep the skin, then spread the 7-second serum-in-ampoule all over your face. Follow up with a lymphatic massage, starting from the forehead wrinkles, moving to the under-eye area, along the cheekbones, down to the jaw and neck. It's amazing! Since the formula doesn't dry quickly, you can dispense a generous amount and spend about 5-10 minutes massaging it in front of your vanity. It glides smoothly during the massage, allowing for both great absorption and a relaxing experience - talk about killing two birds with one stone! To finish off, I recommend applying a lightweight cream. This helps reduce the overall stickiness, so you won't have to worry about your hair sticking to your face. My skin is thin, sensitive, and prone to breakouts, but while using this product, I haven't had any blemishes. I mainly used it in winter, and my skin didn't feel dry at all! I have combination dehydrated skin with excess oil, and I was wondering how to improve this. I thought I should first hydrate my skin to reduce oiliness. I tried this affordable product by chance, and it's surprisingly effective at soothing my skin and visibly reducing oil production, so I keep using it! After using about half the bottle, I noticed fewer blemishes and improved deep dryness. Despite its water-like texture, it provides sufficient hydration! It's a lightweight formula that effectively addresses deep dryness. On extremely dry days, you might find yourself applying more due to its lightweight texture, which could lead to using it up faster than expected. I applied it in thin, thorough layers twice after toner! I hate to say it, but this product was a letdown... (I rarely give 1-star ratings, but this one truly disappointed me.) 1. Ambiguous blemishes on super sensitive skin While it didn't completely wreck my skin, it caused vague, sporadic blemishes. I kept using it out of reluctance to waste the product, but after going through about 1/3 of it, I stopped for a bit. Surprisingly, my skin immediately improved... 2. Lacks hydration, heavy on oil I couldn't really feel any moisturizing effect. If anything, it felt rather rich and oily. I usually enjoy layering hydrating serums, but this product doesn't seem suitable for that approach at all. For those with combination dehydrated skin or who prefer a daily mask routine for hydration, this product might not be the best choice. It doesn't seem to effectively balance oil and moisture, potentially leading to clogged pores or an uneven complexion. I bought this as a sample and it was way better than I expected! It quickly tackled my deep dryness, absorbs well, and doesn't feel sticky at all. My makeup goes on smoothly over it, and best of all, the packaging is really hygienic. I didn't experience any blemishes from using it. Applying it once seems a bit insufficient.
