It's more like a high-quality treatment or hair mask than a typical conditioner. Compared to most products, it's incredibly hydrating and you can feel it penetrating deep into your hair shaft. I have thick, dry hair, so absorption is always key for me, and this product truly sinks in, making my hair look and feel healthier. It's low on oiliness and doesn't leave a thick coating or slippery feeling, so your hair feels incredibly light after use - even more so than most conditioners. Unfortunately, it seems they can't recreate this amazing scent in products containing even a small amount of alcohol - it's only available in shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I wish they'd release a hair oil with this fragrance, as it would last longer and complement my hair care routine. I usually apply products when blow-drying, which ends up masking the scent. There's a hair serum mist available, but it's too light - I really need a finishing oil for my hair care. It's not like Chanel's hair mist that can double as a perfume. For a luxury product, it's disappointing that they don't have a full line like other high-end brands. I believe a luxury brand should offer a complete range of hair and body products to allow for scent layering. As it's a hydrating conditioner, it's less softening. It slightly enhances hair elasticity, which can make the ends a bit prickly. I'm also not entirely convinced it coats the cuticles as well as other conditioners. This conditioner's performance varies depending on what you pair it with. It works well with Aenove treatment due to their similar scents, but using this conditioner alone or with Aenove treatment actually made my hair feel rougher - a negative effect compared to using either product individually. I suspect it's because I have thick hair with low porosity, and both products enhance elasticity. However, it paired nicely with Tsubaki hair pack. When I apply it, my hair feels like silky seaweed. The shampoo scent gets another layer from the conditioner, making the fragrance last longer, which I love. The ends of my hair look calmer and more hydrated. I'm prone to blemishes when using conditioner, but this doesn't cause any, which is great. It's a bit inconvenient because you need to wait a while after applying for it to absorb well.
