I even had a dream where I had cranberry-sized bumps, but I think the granules aren't that irritating for me. You shouldn't expect an intense scrubbing effect, but I'll still use it as a daily cleanser and for exfoliation. The biggest advantage for me is that it doesn't cause much irritation while still cleansing and exfoliating. Even though I don't have super resilient skin and often get breakouts, this product didn't give me any trouble after using it.

If I had to pick one, the smell of rice water might be a bit divisive. But it's not so strong as to be truly bothersome.

Stiff feeling + Sensitive skin redness
When I scrubbed and rinsed my face, I felt like a lot of the protective barrier was being washed away. I think this product may not be suitable for those with a weak skin barrier. I tried both lathering it up and using it like a mask, but my face still ended up red and irritated... Even though it's labeled as a gentle cleanser, 😭 It seems to exfoliate a bit more than expected. For skin that's sensitive to friction, the dense texture may actually be a downside.
