I have very dry lips, so I'm always using lip balm. My lips are especially prone to dead skin cells buildup, so my daily routine involves slathering on lip care products every night before bed and exfoliating in the morning - this is my 365-day ritual. I used to swear by affordable Vaseline, but being a big fan of the CNP Propolis line, I decided to give this a try. I primarily use it for nighttime care. At first, I wasn't reaching for it much because it seemed less hydrating compared to Vaseline due to its thinner consistency. However, don't be fooled - the texture isn't light at all. It's more like a honey-like feel? I found that when I apply a generous double layer before bed, it not only manages dead skin cells well but also provides benefits I never experienced with Vaseline - like wrinkle improvement and overall lip health. Before, if I skipped lip balm for just one night, my lips would be swollen and cracked the next day. Now, even if I go a few days without applying, my lips are in much better condition and feel healthier! Of course, I've only used it for nighttime care. Those looking to use it as a daily lip balm might find it too rich, greasy, or heavy for daytime wear! If you apply a thick layer before bed, you'll still find a coating on your lips the next morning. Gently wipe it off with a tissue, then while washing your face, lightly massage your lips with your fingers. This will help remove stubborn dead skin cells and leave your lips smooth! - du*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 29, 2025
This is my first time using a balm-type cleanser, and I'm impressed with its cleansing effectiveness. It's great for a double cleanse routine. As a first-time user, I didn't find any particular drawbacks or disappointments. I'm even more satisfied because it's quite hygienic to use. - mu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJun 11, 2025
The twist-up design makes it convenient and hygienic to use. It has a scent reminiscent of the Dr. Jart+ Propolis Ampoule. The texture isn't sticky or heavy, but rather moisturizing. It glides on smoothly and provides excellent lip hydration. With its honey-like scent, it feels like you're applying real honey to your lips. The staying power isn't bad either. When applied before bed, your lips retain a slight hint of moisture in the morning, though not as intensely hydrated as right after application. If the scent gets into your mouth, it can be overwhelming and potentially nauseating. Even after applying a generous amount before bed, not much remains by morning, so it's not ideal as an overnight lip sleeping mask. It's more suitable for regular daytime use. While it provides good hydration, its effectiveness in softening dead skin cells on the lips is unclear. The product works well for daily moisturizing but may not be strong enough for intensive overnight treatment. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious of the scent, as it might cause irritation if it enters the mouth. - me*******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 5, 2025
It's a bit shiny, but not heavy, and it functions well as a lip balm. The container leaks a little. When it leaks, it gets slippery, making it difficult to twist the container. - ab****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 3, 2025
As someone who constantly battles dry lips and applies lip balm or moisturizing creams throughout the day, I'm thrilled to say I've found a winner with this lip balm - so much so that I bought two! What I love about it is its hygienic design. You twist the cap to raise the balm, then apply it with your fingers. Of course, make sure your hands are clean before use. The subtle, signature scent of propolis is delightful, and the balm's texture is wonderfully rich. It absorbs well, providing excellent hydration and long-lasting moisture. The only potential downside is that it can feel a bit sticky on your fingers when applying. However, I've found a great use for any excess product - I simply smooth it over my cuticles for added nourishment. - gp***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2025
The portable container is great, and the twist-to-dispense feature ensures you use just the right amount, keeping it hygienic. I love the moisturizing effect of propolis and the relaxing, aromatherapy-like scent. Plus, the hydration lasts for a long time. The amount dispensed in one go is too much if you're only using it on your lips. The formula is a bit heavy and slightly sticky, so you need to apply it carefully and make sure it absorbs well. - gr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 22, 2025
I've been using this for quite a while now. After trying other products, I switched to this one and I'm really happy with it. It's great that you can use just the right amount. I don't have any complaints about it. - ki********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessMay 14, 2025
The products were more hygienic and neat to use compared to those in containers. Although the texture is thick, I'm not sure if the moisturizing power is significantly good. Compared to stick-type lip balms, the volume is larger, so I only used it before bed at home, but in the morning, my lips didn't become extremely moisturized. - db*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsApr 27, 2025
I always want to try new product types, so I chose this one. I was intrigued that LG brands released it simultaneously, wondering if it was a completely new type of product. I was excited, but this... First off, it has a soft, Vaseline-like texture. It's not sticky, but feels more slick! However, fundamentally... I don't see why we need to use a twist-up applicator for such an ordinary formula... Why...? It doesn't even feel cleaner than a jar type.... It doesn't seem to be the type you scoop out with a spatula, but usually when you apply lip balm to the edges of your lips, you smooth it out with your finger, right? And if you need more, you twist up more, but it's so slippery it won't twist, and the extra twisting step doesn't make it feel more hygienic, just inconvenient. The container itself doesn't twist smoothly either... Speaking just about the product's performance... I think the most important aspect of a lip balm is how well it adheres to the creases of your lips! Good adhesion makes it comfortable for the user and ensures effective care for dead skin cells and hydration. But this product just slides over the dead skin cells between your lips without absorbing. It's... I was so surprised at first that I tried pressing it on firmly while reapplying, but instead of absorbing, the product just builds up on top.... There's no stickiness, but it feels like it's just coating the outside of your lips with oil rather than providing care. I hate to say it, but it feels like such a waste of money... I'm really disappointed... Even a 4000 won lip balm can create a thick, wrap-like layer on top... But paying 18000 won for this? Really? I don't think I'll be using it anymore. - ev****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2025
I love that it's easy to use just the right amount with its twist-up design. The oil-balm texture instantly moisturizes your skin, leaving it feeling wonderfully hydrated. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long and you have to apply it with your fingers, which can be inconvenient. When I kept it in my makeup bag, it melted and leaked everywhere.
