The product is almost identical to the Charin lip product. I've used both and this product has a plumping effect. It has a slightly stinging sensation, but the stinging doesn't last long. As someone who is a bit sensitive to stinging, I was initially concerned, but I ended up being satisfied because the stinging went away quickly. Since it's a twist-up product, the formula isn't exposed, which I'm satisfied with from a hygiene perspective. I think this is the perfect product for dry, cracked, and bleeding lips.
