The simple design is quite attractive, and I'm really enjoying using it.
ConsIt feels like there's not enough product... Even though I don't go out often and didn't use it daily, I ran out quickly. It also feels a bit stiff when applying, which is disappointing.

It's truly reliable. I was worried it might be too oily for my very oily skin, but it's actually fine without even needing to apply powder - it has a nice matte finish. However, those with dry skin might find it a bit too drying. The brightening and coverage effects are just right. I'm so glad I was chosen by The Hwahae Testers to try this great product!
ConsSince it's a mineral sunscreen, you definitely need to be thorough with cleansing. It's quite dry, which made it a bit difficult to remove. While it's convenient to apply, the thought of having to cleanse it off later can be a bit daunting. You also need to pat it in quite a bit for proper application, and the puff is too hard. It makes a loud tapping sound every time you use it. As a bonus, both the puff and the product are white, making it hard to see how much you're using.
TipThe white cast is more stark white than natural-looking, so you need to pat it in well to avoid any patchiness.

Small bumps appear on the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Prone to acne on the chin before menstruation. Skin texture improves with moisturizing skincare that provides a bit of oiliness. Advantages and Product Description: The case is beautifully designed, thin, and portable. Its matte finish is also pleasant to touch. The puff has a soft texture, allowing for gentle application without irritation. This sunscreen keeps the skin moisturized inside while leaving a smooth, silky finish on the surface. Unlike other matte products that can make dry skin feel tight, the Ectoin sunscreen doesn't cause any dryness. It's suitable for dry, oily, and sensitive skin types. It provides a slight brightening effect when applied, though it doesn't cover blemishes. I initially used it as a light layer before workouts, but during the testing period, I experimented by applying it before makeup. It filled in pores and even when the makeup faded, it did so gracefully. I usually use a primer, but that day I only used the Ectoin sunscreen. It doesn't cause pilling and is fragrance-free, making it ideal for those sensitive to scents. I've been using it every time I go out, even before exercising, and it hasn't caused any blemishes. It's an excellent product for summer use.
ConsDisadvantages: Knowing it's a compact cushion, it's disappointing to realize it will run out quickly. For those with dry skin, if you don't moisturize well beforehand, it can apply patchily due to its slightly dry texture. It can also pill, so those with dry skin should definitely check out the tips below. Both the puff and the sunscreen are white, making it difficult to see how much product is dispensed, which makes controlling the amount challenging.
TipTips: As it's a mineral sunscreen, it may pill or feel dry. When I applied it casually after basic skincare, it became patchy and white. For dry skin, it's crucial to use very moisturizing, slightly oily skincare products beforehand for smooth application. I use Physiogel cream. Avoid sticky or thick skincare products. This method also helps prevent makeup from separating and maintains it well (I use BB cream). The product is gentle, and the puff is soft, making it suitable for children too. Just ensure their skin is well-moisturized before application. Instead of patting, which doesn't seem to help absorption, I gently swipe the puff across my skin (without irritation) to apply the product.

I've been using this product for about a week, so please keep that in mind as you read my thoughts. Texture: Initially, you'll need to press the puff firmly into the cushion to apply it evenly. Unlike other sunscreens that often blend with your skin tone over time, this one maintains its initial color even after being outside. With my skin tone between 22-23, I had to apply it to my neck area as well to keep the color consistent. Ingredients: As someone with sensitive combination skin, I'm always cautious about skincare, especially in summer and winter. I've had issues with even gentle mineral sunscreens causing redness and blemishes, but after testing this for several days, I had zero skin reactions. Surprisingly, it doesn't contain some of the pore-clogging ingredients commonly found in other sunscreens. If you're a sunscreen nomad who experiences even minor skin issues with other products, I highly recommend giving this a try. Formula: Despite initial concerns about the white cast making it difficult to apply, the puff's unique texture allows the product to sit on the skin rather than being fully absorbed. This makes it convenient for touch-ups or reapplication throughout the day. Scent: I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so this wasn't a major concern for me. It has a typical sunscreen scent, but it's not overpowering. I don't think the scent will be polarizing for most users. I'd recommend this to those with fair skin tones (21-17) looking for a natural, brightening sunscreen.
ConsAs I mentioned earlier, the application can feel a bit thick. Also, the product's staying power decreases if the applied area comes into contact with anything. That's why I deducted one star. However, I still think it's worth trying as it has clear advantages.
TipThe container is light and slim, making it perfect for travel touch-ups. If you're worried about the white cast, try layering it with a slightly tinted or darker product. You can actually use the white cast to your advantage to prevent your makeup from looking dull or faded.

This one is great because you can quickly slap it on and be done. Natural brightening effect from mineral filters - Often when heading to work, I think 'Why bother with makeup in this dreary place?' and go bare-faced. But with this, I can just splash on some toner, smack this on my face, and I'm ready to go out!
ConsApplication - Compared to chemical sunscreens, it does feel a bit stiffer to apply
TipSince it feels a bit stiff, I found that applying it right after your toner and serum, before they fully dry, makes it spread more easily

You can pat it on while on the bus or walking down the street. I've heard that organic or hybrid sunscreens need about 30 minutes to take effect. So applying them on the go seemed pointless since they'd only start working by the time you arrive. But this mineral sunscreen works instantly, and being in cushion form, it doesn't get on your hands, making application a breeze. It truly feels like it was designed for the morning commute - so convenient!
ConsWhile it applies more smoothly than typical mineral sunscreens, it still has that characteristic thickness. If you're looking for a moisturizing formula with a silky application, this might not be for you. It's also not ideal as a makeup base.

First off, I love that it contains organic mineral-rich ingredients, making it gentle on the skin while providing a moisturizing effect. As someone whose skin easily develops blemishes if the ingredients don't agree with it, I'm really pleased with the formulation of this product! Thanks to the organic mineral-rich ingredients, even those with sensitive skin can use this with peace of mind. I also appreciate the subtle brightening effect that naturally makes the skin look radiant and luminous! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a light makeup effect when going out. The sun protection seems excellent too! It boasts an impressive SPF rating of ++++! The UV protection lasts all day, so I felt worry-free even during extended outdoor activities. As we all know, the portability of a sun cushion is unbeatable! It's super convenient to be able to protect your skin anytime, anywhere without having to apply sunscreen with your hands.
ConsThe product doesn't spread easily on the skin and feels a bit stiff when applying. Other than that, I didn't notice any significant drawbacks!

If you really try to smell it, there's a slight medicinal scent, similar to ointment. ▫️Oil Content and Adherence I've tried many sunscreens and sun compacts, some were too oily, others too matte, but this one is different. You can consider it almost oil-free. Using the puff makes it easy to control the amount, and it adheres well when applied with the puff. ▫️Brightening Effect I thought it was just a regular sun compact, but it doesn't leave a white cast and naturally brightens the complexion by one shade, which I love. This is my top pick among all the sunscreens and sun compacts I've tried, so I plan to repurchase after I finish it! The ingredients must be good because after using it for a few days, I haven't experienced any blemishes or skin irritation, which is fantastic!
ConsSince I have dry skin, after applying it completely, it felt matte and a bit tight on my skin.
TipI found it a bit matte, so before using the puff, I sprayed some mist on my skin and then applied it. This reduced the tight feeling somewhat!

Brightening: Initially, the tone-up effect seemed a bit stark, but it settles into a natural look over time.
ConsApplication: The texture is a bit stiff, making it challenging to spread evenly. It would have been better if it was slightly more hydrating.

I loved the initial feel! It's perfect for summer application. The cooling effect was ideal for this weekend when I was sweaty and my skin felt hot! Above all, it's slimmer than other cushions, making it very portable! It's also fragrance-free and didn't irritate my eyes at all! I'm sensitive to eye irritation due to lens implant surgery, but this product caused no issues whatsoever!
ConsThe white cast is quite noticeable. As it's a mineral sunscreen product, it does tend to leave a significant white cast. Also, the application feels a bit stiffer than expected. However! I've heard that thicker sun products are more effective on very sunny days, so I think I'll use it more during the summer months!
TipAvoiding white cast - I pre-treat areas prone to sunscreen buildup like eyebrows and hairline near the forehead with powder to create a dry base before application!
