I've always loved the convenience of stick eyeshadows, but they've been hard to find lately. I was thrilled to discover Protage's color range and immediately made a purchase! While it may look dark when swatched on white paper, it's not too intense on the eyelids or back of the hand. It's just the right intensity and looks beautiful!

Everything's great, but the pencil breaks easily, so I have to sharpen it often, which is a bit of a hassle.

The color is a beautiful mauve! It seems like it would suit anyone, regardless of their personal style.

For those with cool undertones, try applying it to your under-eye area and the triangular zone of your face!

While it's a mauve tone suitable for cool undertones, it's a bit disappointing that it has gold shimmer. It would have been even better with silver or pink shimmer.

I was diagnosed with shade 23 light undertone/dark as my best match. The color payoff is amazing! Even with the lightest application, it creates a beautiful shadow effect.

The color is a bit dark, and it has more of a deep beige tone rather than a pink hue.

It's nice to use when you feel like you need a little something extra, but I don't find myself reaching for it very often, unfortunately.

The pencil is quite hard, giving a scratchy feeling. The staying power is extremely poor. It disappears quickly with just a little rubbing. Only the glitter scatters, ending up all over your face.

First off, the color is a toned-down pink with a hint of gray, which is absolutely gorgeous. The shimmer is also beautiful, making it potentially great as an eyeshadow.

At the very bottom is shade 12 Mauve On. (The fourth from the top is the same product, but applied over a slightly yellow-tinted NARS Creamy Concealer in Chantilly.) The one right above that is shade 15 Peony Tea.

The color is a miss... It's a highly saturated ochre tone. Doesn't apply well if you use too much oil-based moisturizer!

It has a beautiful shimmer. Glides on smoothly on bare skin. The thickness is just right and it's convenient to carry around.

I saw someone using it as a lip pencil, so I tried it too. While it's beautiful and nice, the shimmer transfers to the lips, making it a bit challenging to use as a lip pencil.

I love the satisfying feel of the protage pencil gliding smoothly across my skin. The color is pretty, though a bit subtle. In the swatch, the top shade is Sheer Nude and the bottom is Mauve On.

This product was born for the undereye area... Go ahead and apply it to your triangle zone right away!

So far, I haven't found any downsides while using it! It doesn't seem to break easily, so as long as you're not too rough with it, it should last well.

It absorbs beautifully, has great color payoff, and adheres well to the skin. The shade isn't too dark either, making it comfortable to apply without feeling overwhelming.

To prevent creasing on the eyelids, it's best to set it with powder at the end!

Since this isn't the type that builds up color layer upon layer, it's better to roughly plan out 2-3 color areas in your mind before applying. You don't need to be too precise, but it feels different from stick eyeshadows where you just apply and figure it out later.

I thought it was a disaster when I swatched it on my hand and saw a bit of excess powder and felt that gritty texture. But when applied to the eyes, it's soft and blends naturally! It's so convenient for a 5-minute quick makeup routine.

It's a bit of a hassle to sharpen. Hmm, other than that, I can't think of any real downsides. Grab it when it's on sale!

This would suit cool-toned folks beautifully! When I'm too lazy for full eye makeup, I just swipe it along my eyelid crease. The shimmer particles are quite prominent, so you'd think it'd be flashy, but it looks surprisingly natural on the eyes.
