Texture: It has a consistency that's thicker than a typical moisturizer but thinner than a nourishing cream. The texture is great, allowing it to absorb well into the skin! Packaging: There's a small opening at the front, making it convenient to use.
ConsI'm not sure about its effectiveness on dark spots and blemishes. If you apply too much, it might feel a bit rich. Unfortunately, I experienced some minor skin irritation.

It's subtle and not overpowering. The texture feels refreshing when applied. I applied this cream as the final step after my serum and emulsion, and it absorbed into my skin without any issues. While it does form a moisturizing barrier, it feels lightweight. Those with dry skin might still feel a bit of dryness. Personally, I'm not a fan of greasy creams, so I really liked this one. I didn't experience any blemishes during the week of use. The tube packaging is hygienic, and I appreciate that it's a generous 60ml size for a functional cream.
ConsAs for its effectiveness on brightening and dark spots... I can't really tell. A week might be too short to see results, so I'll need to use it longer to know for sure.

While it didn't completely eliminate the dark spots or dramatically brighten my skin, it improved enough that people noticed my face looked brighter. I was told that post-treatment care is crucial, so I was considering a brightening moisturizer or melasma cream when I won the Dr. Bium Melasma Cream - perfect timing! I had been researching tranexamic acid for its benefits in treating melasma, so I was thrilled to try this product. With my dry, sensitive, thin skin, I'm often prone to side effects from high-performance cosmetics, so I was quite apprehensive before using it. Even vitamin or retinol-based products with high concentrations have caused my skin to react badly. Fortunately, this product didn't cause any adverse reactions or skin irritation, and it didn't even produce milia. I can't compare it to other melasma creams as this is my first, but the texture and feel aren't heavy at all. I expected a melasma cream to be thick and greasy like some high-performance nourishing creams (which always give me milia or blemishes), but it applies much more lightly than I anticipated and doesn't leave a greasy finish. In terms of effectiveness, it's too early to say if it has amazing brightening effects, especially right after laser treatments. However, like others have mentioned, it definitely seems to help with minimizing the appearance of pores.
ConsFrom my experience, brightening moisturizers need consistent, long-term use to show visible results. To be honest, I can't really tell if there's a noticeable brightening effect yet. I'll add to this review after I've used up the entire bottle consistently.
TipSince I have very dry skin, this product alone felt a bit drying when used as the last step. I applied a thin layer of a light moisturizer a little while after using this cream. Also, since it contains tranexamic acid (though further down the ingredients list), I only used it at night before bed.

There's no stickiness or greasiness, making it perfect for everyday use as a base. It doesn't cause pilling, so you can apply it even before makeup.
ConsIt's not effective for dark spots... It's more of a basic emulsion rather than a targeted dark spot treatment.

The texture was just right - not too thin or thick, but with a nice weight to it, making it easy to apply without any discomfort. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, so the application is definitely a plus. The tube design with a small opening was great for dispensing just the right amount.
ConsTo be honest, simply applying this won't magically erase wrinkles or dramatically brighten your skin. However, I did feel like my complexion looked a bit more radiant!
TipI found it works well when I use it after toner and before cream in my skincare routine.
