This product runs lighter compared to other foundations. So even though I used 23 Beige, it gave me a naturally bright skin look. If you have a similar tone to mine and prefer a brighter complexion, 22 Petal might be suitable (though Petal has a slightly cool base). Those who usually use 23 might find it a bit light, so I wouldn't recommend it for them. •Texture and Hydration It's a low-viscosity fluid formula, so it flows a bit when applied directly to the face. You can really feel the hydration, and it applies very comfortably. However, as it sets, it adheres closely to the skin, which made it feel a bit dry. Even for my combination dehydrated skin, it could be somewhat drying, so those with dry skin might want to consider if it'll work for them in the dry winter months. •Coverage Despite its thin application, it has high coverage. It gives a natural skin look while excellently covering pores and blemishes. If you don't have many blemishes, you could just use the included concealer for some tone correction. •Longevity and Wear It's really great in this aspect. The semi-matte finish just looks like a semi-glow over time. There's hardly any breakdown of the product.
ConsIt tends to emphasize dead skin cells, especially in areas with more sebum like the forehead, nose, and chin where the skin is thinner. Since many base products can pill, it's important to have a solid skincare routine, minimize product use, and exfoliate regularly. When applying the product, using your hands is the least drying method. Also, applying a thin layer gives a prettier skin finish and less emphasis on dead skin cells.
